  • I'm late to this post but am 5'11 and pretty much have the same goals at the OP. Add me ladies!
  • 5'11 and 12-13 M. I used to be called Ronald McDonald for my big feet! I shop longtallsally.com mainly because they are located in Canada. SometimesI find a pair of Clarks or Naturalizers that work great for me. Payless carries some shoes but I find it hard to get a comfortable pair there. And then it's Men's for workboots.
  • Walking into the signs hanging from Tim Horton's ceiling. : ( Having to put the seat back in your Volkswagon and find yourself sitting in the backseat (Police Academy anyone?) Beds that are too short! Washroom doors that are too short and you feel weird dropping your pants while looking at people. HA Shopping for…
  • Silver's are my number one jean that hold their shape well and don't stretch but I just bought a pair of Wrangler Q Baby's and they are fav! Just enough stretch but they hold their shape for days on end. Plus they come in long inseams. You can find them in any Western wear store. I get lots of compliments on them. Both are…
  • Yes, another horseback rider! I'm looking to lose 20 lbs myself (before the summer is over haha) so anyone add me!
  • I'm 5'10, 179 lbs and goal weight is 150. I think 140 would be perfect weight but I'll be happy to just get to 150 and be fit! Check out My Body Gallery to get a sense of what height/weight looks like.
  • Again, thanks for posting those pictures! It's a great motivator for us who are struggling through. I'm going to take pictures tomorrow since I'm only at day 4 to compare with at the end.
  • I'm on day 4 of the shred. I feel like my cardio is improving already! I'm doing it two days in a row with another cardio option on the off day. I'm really enjoying it and like how Jillian gets after me to keep moving and "feel the burn!".
  • Add me! I'm looking for the same. It's nice to have people to cheer on.
  • Hey, funny no one responded. I was just pondering this question myself. I've been putting it in as low or high impact aerobics.
  • First off, congratulations! I've got a similar goal in mind as I've got a friend getting married in 3 months. I think Silvergamma hit the nail on the head. Focus on your diet and weight training! I have had the most success previously with revamping my diet. Eat frequently, snack on veggies, some fruits, and go easy on the…
  • Another Cape Bretoner here!
  • ^ I agree. The trick for me with sugar is I can't eat it at all or I become a sugar-obsessed monster prowling the kitchen. It's very addictive and I find it difficult to get through one day without it. I've gone weeks without touching it and then BAM, I "relapse" and it's all I can do to get away from it again. Starting…
  • I'm new too and I just discovered this forum! I'm from Cape Breton and I could use some fitness pals!
  • First Canadian to the thread. Whooo!
