YES! I am on my 2nd long plateau since I first started. The first one was 6 dang months and broke it by starting a new exercise program that kicked my butt into gear. This time I tried that and failed. So now it's more fruits and veggies being added and have to figure out how to up my exercise. I know this 2nd plateau has…

Keep it up is usually more of a pat on the back, not an implication of you needing way more. Keep in mind most people are used to seeing yoyo'ers who will lose and then gain with more. The way I would interpret is to say "keep it up"... is " you have done great!" (no yoyo) :) Just my take on it

Making this simple: Hate my first name. Hard as heck over the phone for people to understand it since it's not a common name, EVERYONE messes it up

Congrats! That's so awesome! I have not finished yet, still plugging away here. Had a couple medical issues set me back about a week, but done with month2, week 1 now and pushing through :) You did awesome!!!! Get those pics done for this round and prepare to be amazed! I will be doing another round, but have to take some…

Officially going into the "I wish I could un-see some things in life" category! LOL!

Coral colored lacy tank top and ripped up denim capris. Thinking it might be time to change into some workout gear and hit it though - feeling antsy.

I am so glad you are doing the 10K... and glad you had someone able to help you read the stats correctly. Now you won't be going in all paranoid ;) You got this and good luck to you!!!

I live in an extremely rural area... on the far end of a farm nonetheless. I carry a handheld pellet gun. It won't do anymore damage then a bb gun, but if necessary, I have it (and only if necessary...so please don't hate on me). However, I try to avoid running in the dusk/dawn/dark if able, but due to work and school…

I, too, plateau often now. At the start I didn't, but since I have taken off the first 40, seems I plateau (LONG plateaus) after every 10lbs. However I do not do anything based on a body type. What I do is simply up the Intensity and try to swap around what I eat a bit. The first plateau was 6 months, this one has been…

Did you get fitted for your running shoes? I had hip pain and bad shin splints ( to the point where I had bruising all up and down my shins even) before when I would try to stay with running. It totally affected my running. I went to a running store and had my gait evaluated (free of charge) and they told me the best shoe…

Not a scheduling ninja, you just have to want it bad enough. On weekdays I get up at 3:30am, get my kids stuff ready for the day, then get ready for work, on the road at 5:30am, to work at 7am and work til 4pm, drive home and there around 5:30pm, then start my school work (full time college). I eat supper at my computer…

Was just an observer, but gotta tell ya... you fit into the hot category with no issue.

A friend to my best friend, named her son... wait for it.... Lucifer. To make matters worse, and to totally give the kid a complex... they call him "Lucy" for short!

I am in month 2 and love it. The first 3 days of initially starting it was the worst. For 3 days I groaned just to bend and sit on the toilet, LOL! But stay with it and you WILL see results :)

I have one. I got the XRT after all the upgrades and like it. It DOES show you results and it's a space saver when you aren't using it if you want to fold it up. Great for different ability levels too and has come in handy continuing physical therapy for my daughter after her knee replacement as the sliding lunge is what…

Police officer... nothing better than wearing a garter, and then having handcuffs just to be sure it all goes my way, LOL

Buh bye Ms. Old and Ornery... since you can't learn that your age doesn't give you the right to be mean and STILL not do your work... you ARE the weakest link... Good-bye :)

Get colder easier. That's it. Everything else is a "win" in my book :)

I am starting month 2 tonight. Plan on taking a month off of Insanity once completed to do running and lifting and such... but then it will be time for round 2!

^^^^ Bam! We have a winner  Just my two cents

Congrats! That is awesome!!!

Speaking from experience - my mom, me, my 16 yr old; all have bad RA. My daughter got the worst of it though and just had a complete knee replacement and is now looking at a full wrist fusion and an ankle replacement...at 16. My best advice is if it hurts too badly for walking, then she shouldn't do it, it will only…
