I'm not diabetic but it does run in my family. Both sides with type 2.

I'm in the final stretch until my finals so every day might be too much but I will aim for 4 times a week. Today I did 20 mins treadmill and 20 mins elliptical plus some weights.

I try not to buy packages of trigger foods but if I'm on track and want a butter tart or cookie, I will pay the extra and get a really good one from a bakery. Moderation is easier when you don't have an entire package at your disposal.

The routine is helping me to eat less out of boredom but I can't seem to find the motivation to hit the gym on campus. I have a toddler at home so I don't have time or opportunity in the evenings to get a workout in. I joined an indoor soccer league so hopefully that jumpstarts my motivation again!

Take your time and become comfortable with the new single you! Just do activities you enjoy, be happy and the rest will follow :) I'm in my early 30s with a 3yr old and I've found the jerks weed themselves out really quickly.

I agree: Jealousy. There's a person in my life that told me I was "obsessed" when I started. Now she tells people that I dress nice when I go out for the boys ( I couldn't care less about what the boys think). Jealousy is a funny thing. Keep at it! You're doing great!

Yes, I use my breadmachine once in a while to make bread. As the PP said, most recipes don't have more than a tsp of salt.
