Yes, it works!! But, the most important part of getting flat abs is the diet! So you need to make sure you are following the plan very well to see great results!

Are you using a heart rate monitor? That will be your best bet to enter it. The data base doesn't have specific workouts, so you have to add them yourself. I add all of mine that way. How are you liking Les Mills so far? I got it at Christmas, and I think I am going to do that next!!

I am doing a program right now called Chalean Extreme. It is by far my soul mate workout. It is 3 days of weights, 1 day of cardio, and 1 day of high endurance. When you build muscle, you will burn more fat. Do not worry about bulking up, it just won't happen! Some days I add another program made my the same woman called…

You're right, I have seen some very hurtful comments on here as well. We don't know everyone's physical limitations, such as surgery or joint problems. But I think for most, if you can do light weights at a high rep, you can do heavy weights at a low rep and get much better results faster. It is hard to leave good comments…

I agree with nutrition! I saw nothing till I ate better. Also remember the first phase is laying the foundation, phase 2 is where all you hard work will start to show. But make sure you get your food in check before you start, other wise you will be a bit disappointed with the results.

What I do right now is 3 days of weights, 3 days of cardio. Slow your reps down, each move try for a 4 count up and a 4 count down. You should try to max out between 10-12. You want to break the muscle down, that way they will build up and burn more fat. Give each muscle group about 48 hours to recover, so generally I do…

One pound of muscle and one pound of fat weight the same...obviously. BUT a pound of muscle is about half the size of a pound of fat! Google images of it an you will be amazed! Right now I am doing a weight based workout program. The scale is hardly moving, but I have dropped 1 pant size this month already! Added bonus,…

Your lower body muscles are the largest in your body, so really work though and it will burn fat all over your body. Very slow, very controlled squats and lunges will be great for you. Mix it up and find different ways to do them. Sumo squats, one leg squats and lunges. Youtube has a lot of good videos for that. It will…

I agree with starting slowly. Feel free to check out my food diary. I honestly don't always make the best choices lol but you can get some ideas! Adding little things with each meal will probably be easiest for you! Like flax or chia seeds, avocados, coconut oil, nuts. Those are all filling, healthy, and great calorie…

I am a snacker and a grazer. My number 1 go to late night snack has become an apple! So simple, but so filling. If I am extra hungry, I add a tablespoon of peanut butter. But I have to measure that out or I will eat the whole jar lol

I honestly would not even worry about going over with your protein. Everyone here is right about not bulking up. Unless you are taking steroids and bumping up your testosterone levels, it won't happen. The body can only absorb so much protein at one time (I think 35 was what I read, but I could totally be wrong) so your…

The closer you get to your body's ideal size, the harder it will be to drop weight. AT this point, nutrition really is the most important, so it is very possible you aren't eating enough! Start adding slowly, only 100-200 calories a day for a week or 2 and see how that goes! Weights really will help you the most, but…

First thing in the morning, before you eat but after bathroom is the best time. As a woman, our weight really does fluctuate so much, so doing it more than once a week will only put you on an emotional roller coaster. I used to way myself twice a day for the longest time. Than I friend convinced me to put the scale away!…

Hey, Ladies! My name is Liz, and right now I weigh 140lbs. But when I started, I was 180lbs. I am now 2 years into this journey, and honestly only a year into being serious about it! It was a long process, but I did it the right way. I tried the diet pills, chalky shakes, and starving, but it never worked. I was so…
