Water and I have a love/hate relationship. I often get heartburn from water and left feeling bloated! If you feel like your forcing it, don't do it. Follow your bodies lead, sip on a glass over the course of an hour or something.. If you aren't sweating it out you may not need that amount. And that is a lot of oatmeal at a…

Do you measure yourself? I am wondering with all that working out how much you may have gained in muscle.

Food wise weekdays are much easier for me to stay on track. I can only eat what I bring, I can't be running out to the store to grab snacks. Exercise is much harder though. I have a desk job, sitting most of the day. I get up and walk when I can, try to walk on "lunch" breaks etc..

Nay.. I think everyone has an opinion on sweeteners, my personal preference is why risk it? Plus I don't care for the taste of it.

When I quite soda I found it took me about 5 days to really feel my withdrawals ease. If you are able to control yourself, try eating about 20 or so chocolate chips. Eat them one at a time, let them dissolve in your mouth and savor it. I think you'll feel some of that craving and tension subside and you aren't doing a lot…

Totally agree! The question you need to ask yourself is do you want to be healthy or thin? There is no nutritional benefit to soda, yes you can drink diet (Iam not getting into the sweetener debate), however my personal thinking is why add fake anything into the body if you don't have to? You obviously can lose weight and…

Ive had two of them, 10 years apart. I have what I call my "purse"! There's no amount of exercise that will make that skin go away. It's all luck of the draw with the genetics and elasticity of the skin.

You've gotta do it for you! No matter who else comes and goes at the end of the day you have to want it for yourself. I struggle too but I know it's what's going on in me. It doesn't matter how many other folks are logging on and off here it's my choice to hold myself accountable and find the push to keep going. Good luck.

What ages are the kids? Are you discussing the healthier food lifestyle you are trying to live? Involve them in the process. Let them help pick out dishes they may like to try. I wouldn't try to switch it overnight. Do it gradually. Substitute the worst offenders with healthier options, like home made chicken nuggets if…

There are obviously a lot of issues going on with her. No matter what her problem is though, you have the right to work in piece and not feel harassed. I would tell you what I just told my daughter about her first job; no one has the right to speak to you rudely or try to intimidate you. Stay calm and look her dead in the…

Perimenopause can start in your mid-late 30's.. hot flashes etc.. fun stuff.. NOT. I was told that it is considered true menopause if you are ceasing to have a period. So if you haven't had one in 17 years and it's not due to a hysterectomy or anything, then you've already been going through it. And yes, to the poster who…

I brought in a jump rope, will do that for a couple of minutes, jog in place, push ups, lunges.. I can sneak off and do these through out the day!

For me, my exercise is anything above and beyond what I do in a normal day, unless it gets my heart rate up. You could do the pedometer and see about converting, it may be worth it. However, I look at it like if it's the stuff I've been doing right along and I still need to lose weight then it's probably not much in the…

Yup, I definitely go through this! I try to keep a dessert flavored gum on hand, like the Extra Apple Pie one, and that really seems to help me. It's very sweet and keeps my mouth busy!

WOW! LMAO, this made me spit my water out!

It's annoying and RUDE! To me it's no different than constant whispering and I can see why you'd find it obnoxious.

I had it for most of my first trimester with my pregnancy. At times it was a brighter pink and required a pantyliner at most. They had me lay low for a bit and then pretty much said it's normal, implantation as well as "old" pockets around the uterine lining :noway: I was confused, stressed, nervous and everything else but…

MOST prepackaged, premade foods aren't good! Healthy Choice (snacks and meals), weight watchers, Lean Cuisine, etc.. I have read the labels over and over wishing they were good because it'd be so much easier!

I have bought an jump rope and on 15's will jump in the downstairs office!

Ditto... no fun!

I am Client Services Assistant for 2 busy Financial Rep's. 90% of my job is on the computer however I am fortunate in that they encourage me to take 15's and my 1/2 hr lunch. Usually here 8-4:30. I get up and walk around at LEAST every hour for about 2/3 minutes. Even if it's just pacing around in my office. On days it's…

I am not one to strong arm my kid into eating something they truly seem to detest. Aren't you really teaching your child that food is now about power and control? I don't want my kids thinking food is something of a control issue. That being said, I am not a short order cook. I do try to plan ahead and if I am making…
