"Think" is a dangerous term. Actually figure out how many calories you're eating. Don't assume you're eating fewer calories because it doesn't feel like that much.

Ranch is it for me. What I do it toss the lettuce in the ranch so there's a light coating on it. That way I can get a lot of ranch flavor without having big globs of it or using a large amount.

I agree with this. Set small goals, and don't make it entirely scale-focused. Accomplishments don't have to be by the pound. Although you can still focus on the scale as long as you don't become obsessed. Celebrate every 3 pounds by doing something special!

You SHOULD eat back the excess workout calories. MFP is set up to help you lose weight without exercising, so anything you burn off via workout should be eaten. Do you plan to lose more bodyfat? If so, I would hold off on the skin surgery since you'll likely develop more loose skin. Give it time to shrink naturally and lose everything you want to, then get the surgery.

I eat back almost all of mine. I might leave like 50-100 to account for me not burning as much as the calculator said, but not eating back exercise calories makes me feel awful and I just binge.

Candy with nuts shouldn't be banned, but it would be a nice gesture to have a variety for kids to choose from because so many do have nut allergies now. No one stares. Although sometimes I stare at the butt of the person in front of me if it's particularly hypnotic. Can't help it! But really, no one cares, and if you can go during the day or later at night there will be less people around most likely.

This. You can't live in fear of cheating, because you're going to be at a party one day and the only thing left over is going to be some chicken wings or a slice of pizza and then you'll go to town. Just eat what you like and make your eating habits sustainable.
