I have to point to working out again. I do a moderate work out in the mornings and it really just sorta jazzes me up for the day. Getting your heart and body going and that has helped me. And carbs are the devil for me. I pass out after pasta.

I have hypo and just eating under my calories hasn't been good enough. I have to workout everyday (not that I do it) but when I do for some days in a row, then I start to see results. I also have abandoned sodas altogether, they used to be my pick-me-up when I got my thyroid fatigue going on. Green tea is my go to drink.…

Made my day.

I still feel terrible. I didn't even realize I did it. Like one minute "yeah pizza and ooo castle marathon on tnt " and the next "where's my pizza?" I'm so disappointed in myself.

I have one. I call it "stationary biking light effort" because mine provides almost zero resistance. It's good to get you moving if that's all you're looking for. Mine shifts a lot too, so be careful! And enjoy.

Ok first, chill pill. Just because no one jumps immediately doesn't mean they're hating on you. The two types of noodles may have different ingredients that lead to different fat and carb content. That is a potential reason for the difference between the two. As for the difference between weights...I dunno. I would take…

Yup! I try to limit my intake, but at that point--I want pizza and there is nothing that can stop me. I order the little individual ones though, so I don't feel so guilty. Also, try just taking a walk. Movement and light exercise actually relieves cramps. But yes, Aunt Flo is a cruel woman, fortunately she leaves me alone…

lol.

Ok so if I do c25k, how do you log those minutes?

WW assigned me 30 points and that was actually more than I eat in a day and I gained weight in the most miserable ways. Furthermore, their online food database is pathetic compared to MFP--especially when it's something you're paying for. You aren't going to get anything terribly different there from here, just a hole in…

Well I have no funding so I can't go buying stuff right now I'm unemployed and I thought RI30 was a good option based on the great reviews. I can do it, just not the 5-6 days a week she recommends. I'll try walking the dogs more. They're old and arthritic but maybe more short walks instead of the fewer long walks.

I was told to call it "circuit training" by some of the others. But for 30 minutes I sure do sweat a lot for 300 calories.

I'm Bri, 22, happily done with college, unhappily unemployed, joyfully in a relationship for a year this month, love dogs, hate cats (sorry cat people, I'm allergic and they always scratch me), want to change the world someday, need to lose weight before I do that. Goal: JM R30 dvd Goal: avoid cookies roommate made Goal:…

That sounds like me. I am unemployed and spend most of my day sitting around. But now that I think of it, it's the days where I really do nothing but sit around (too hot to walk the dog, not feeling good, etc etc) that I find I have the munchies. So if it's boredom I need to battle, then I am going to bust out a video game…

This was a new one for me but maybe not for all. Spinach and strawberry salad. My cousin made it. Just baby spinach and sliced strawberries. My dad added dried bacon bits which I guess aren't terrible but I avoid it. And then just spritz a balsamic vinaigrette on it and you've got a delicious break from the usual salad…

Welcome! Feel free to add me as a friend. and one chocolate junky to another: Nature Valley granola thins with the chocolate are perfect. They satisfy my need for chocolate and they are only 80 calories. I never feel guilty crunching one of those!

I am a huge advocate for water. I drink at least 64oz. a day, but I will admit today I probably haven't had enough.
-
It does get better, just take caution in how much water you are drinking at one time. While water is always good for you, too much is bad. It can cause water intoxication which to the body (but not the mind) mimics drowning in fresh water. My recommendation: find a good book or discover a new game on your phone!

Way to go! It is not small at all! Woohoo! Keep pushing!

I have Ripped in 30. Can I hop in anyway? (I need someone to hold me accountable.)

I'm hypo. But it's a recent diagnosis, and I have no clue except to avoid soy (because it somehow inhibits thyroid production). I look forward to seeing what others have to offer, too.

While I am amused at the hilarious tips, this one is more serious from someone who witnessed Katrina, Rita, and Ike: DO NOT leave your pets behind! They are dependents on you. Like children. If for some horrible reason you must leave them behind: DO NOT leave them tied up to something! They will absolutely drown and it…

Thanks! First time in years I finally wore the little guy out! Man, what good feeling!

Ok update: my doc bumped me up to 90mg and what a world of difference! I started it this morning and I've got a great feeling. I am happy and alert, I have energy (not excessive) and I feel great! I think I can finally get moving on this weight loss thing.

Ok. I'm crying. There is nothing like the love of a dog. And they can't understand why we're gone. Heartbreaking.
