  • On the other hand, with mine (Ortho tri cyclen lo, yaz, yazmine, nuvaring, leena (I"m never happy with mine)) they have all made me retain weight and in the in between periods when I've stopped taking them I lost weight. My doctor warned me that my pills would cause me to gain/retain weight, not help me lose/maintain. And…
  • Hate green olives---LOOOOOOVE black olives.
  • Thanks for the support everyone. And for being as irritated by this as I am. I feel justified now. I'm planning on talking to my dad about what he can be doing to help mom. His I think I can help him with and he genuinely seems lost. I think that it would ease some of mom's tension if he could do more around the house…
  • Oh I know. What I meant was that they made sure I understood that relationships aren't perfect and you aren't always going to get along. I haven't settled for arguments in my love life. My boyfriend and I don't. If he hurts my feelings I say "hey, this is what happened and it hurt my feelings." and he says the same thing.…
  • I heard fabulous things about it and that synthroid was nothing compared to it. But I'm not having any results except for a slight energy boost and a way high blood pressure. I know it's not safe to continue, but I'm just really confused. Shouldn't I feel worse after stopping?
  • still not making this work. blegh strep. i really didn't try this week, but I will start anew tomorrow. 185.

  • I have never been a runner. Ever ever. Got started on this and now I think I can do it. Day 1 Week 1 really busted my butt for about two weeks before I could actually finish, but now I'm starting week 2 and am very confidant.

  • Despite working really hard this week, I have a gain. Previous weight 178 Current weight 181 I am so upset.
  • Oh yes. I dreamed of joining the Navy for years and years and years. It was my only goal all through high school. But my parents told me I wasn't strong enough, I didn't have the discipline, etc. I didn't ever join. I believed them and now I don't know if I will be proud of myself ever for not at least trying. Don't let…
  • YEAH! Good job! I can never resist pizza. I admire your devotion.
  • OMG God forbid someone be wrong. My apologies. I was always told by parents and my doctor that coffee was no substitute for water due to the caffeine dehydrating you. But whatever...
  • Decaf tea? Coffee I don't count at all due to the dehydrating effects. But a good hot tea that's caffeine free should be fine. Or spice it up with fresh squeezed juice from your favorite fruit. But I don't recommend those flavor packets, they usually have artificial sweeteners that are terrible for your body.
  • I watch my favorite movies in the winter after cooking my favorite meals. But sadly, it's still summer in Texas for now, so I don't have an excuse to not go outside!
  • Yes there is! It is called water intoxication. You basically dilute your blood and swell up your blood cells, like if you were drowning. But it's not how much you drink it's how fast. Your body can process 15 liters of water a day. So space out your intake and you'll be fine.
  • Shame on you equating her to that monster. He intentionally fought dogs. She is in a touch situation and looking for support, not damnation. That's the point of this whole community is support. Judge not.
  • My grandfather won $1,000.
  • My goal weight is under 150. How far under 150 (as is healthy) varies based on my ambition from day to day. Haha!
  • I haven't been on a horse since I left Inner Mongolia last year, but what I'd give to ride again! I love horses and hope to own my own little herd of them some day! I just graduated from college. I hope I count!
  • iPhones are more user-friendly for the not-tech savvy individual. Not to say that Androids are incredibly involved pieces of technology, but they make less sense to the user right away and can be frustrating. Plus iPhone has a great customer service network behind it. Can't speak for AT&T because we left them years ago for…
  • bump Walmart does have great ready packed salads with dressing in them. Great part: Calories in big bold numbers right on the top and the count includes the dressing. Really good option for light eaters, but salad is never enough for me.
  • If they don't want to get up but can sit and lay down it is a back problem in my experience. My little buddy threw out his back last year. While back problems are not common with chihuahuas, the problem all small dogs face as they get older is that their joints are breaking down, not necessarily arthritis. The thing is:…
  • I was on it for about two weeks and all it did was embarrass me. Basically it makes you go do the #2 repeatedly throughout the day. If you're not careful it stains your underwear, and my stomach was constantly twisting. Not worth the trouble for no results.
  • Not sure where to post my weight weekly so I'm going to start here. 10/16: 178lbs.
  • I did not post my starting weight. Oops! SW: 178 GW: 158 or less!
  • That sounds cool. I have MFP on my android and I'm addicted to it. I'll find that. Thanks for the suggestions!
  • This guy knows exactly what he's doing. I've seen him at work and it is amazing. But he has no bed side manner and cannot be held down. And I have defeated other doctors for the same problem, but not him. Once I get a job I intend to go see a physical therapist, but can't yet.
  • find out the appropriate way to do crunches. they're the perfect ab toning exercise if you know how to do them, and most people don't. also, i just try to suck it in while at a desk or driving and keep doing contractions like that and that is a decent little work out too.
