I believe this is the lowest dose for this particular med and one of the more slower releasing ones versus a quick release like Adderall. Thankfully my doctor is very open to communication, and I actually can't even get a second refill until I discuss how it is going through a phone consultation. But I definitely hear you…

..I made the mistake of googling. What in the actual hell. How is Australia not up in flames from all the nope..?

Get yourself on a progressive lifting program and focus on recomposition rather than losing anymore weight.
-
No. One does not gain significant muscle in a month as a female, in a calorie deficit, and possibly doing no progressive weight training. OP, it looks like it's your expectations that need adjusting. You should only be expecting to lose about .5lbs a week while safely retaining muscle mass.
-
By measure, do you mean food scale or measuring cups?
-
Log it and move on. Personally, dwelling on it in my case, gives me a "screw it" attitude. Logging it and staying accountable helps one stay disciplined. That and knowing the much of the weight gain accompanied by a over indulgence day is just extra food in the system and water weight.

Smaller meals won't "increase" your metabolism. Eat when you want to eat while staying in a calorie deficit.

If you do a search on the forums, you'll find a lot of posts about anti-depressants and weight loss/gain. Long story short, they don't directly cause weight gain but alter something in the CICO equation by things such as increasing appetite. Keep an eye on your logging and you should be fine. In my personal experience, I…

Necro'd thread.

Therapy. No one here has the tools to help an unhealthy relationship with food like a professional would.

Why did you mention it in the first place? Just go, ignore their comments, and have fun. Either way, no one actually owes you support. Would it be nice? Of course. But this is your choice, not theirs. But I find that those that are relentless about making comments get bored when you stop responding and humoring them.

Are you updating calorie goals as you get to lower weights? The lower the weight, the less calories are needed to maintain. It's recommended to update every 10lbs lost. Secondly, are you using a food scale to measure all solids, including scannable prepackaged foods? If not, you're likely eating more than you think. A…

I live in Wisconsin, so beer is basically a staple in my diet. I just make sure to fit it into my calorie goals. Haven't had a problem yet. If you're concerned, switching to low-calorie options could be a possibility. But I would keep an eye on you're inability to even cut back. That's a bit of a red flag that should be…

Are you logging your strength training under the strength or cardio section? Searching and logging it under cardio will give you calories. Most people recommend starting by eating half due to inflation and re-evaluate in a few weeks based on the data. If you're losing quicker than anticipated, eat more back; if you're…

Bipolar here myself; actually in a manic phase currently as I pace my apartment because I can't sleep. Anyways, it's easier said than done, but on those low days, you just have to get it done whether you want to or not. Often I will tell myself that if I go and start exercising for ten minutes, I can quit if I still feel…

OP is ~35lbs overweight, so we are still only talking a pound a week.
-
This is true given the starting weight to an extent, but even then, she's looking at about a pound loss per week to preserve muscle because she's doing no strength training. However slow weight loss wouldn't be qualified as "horrible" advice. Just because someone doesn't want to be patient to lose the weight doesn't mean…

Define noticeable. Does that mean no loss at all, or a loss less than you were expecting? You're on the right path by logging calories to start. I suggest doing that for a month then reevaluate where you are at. You should be looking for no more than about .5lbs a week with only 25lbs to lose.
-
Before. However, if you weigh it after, make sure to choose the correct "cooked" entry.
-
Why the rush? Eat at a reasonable deficit and you won't be afraid of losing your hair because 1000 calories daily is too little. 40lbs in two months is not going to happen under healthy means. Not that what you're suggesting is healthy in any form.
-
Starvation mode does not exist in the context you are describing.
-
Most people ignore that prediction for some of the reasons you described such as water weight, food in the digestive tract, etc. it also assumes your days will be exactly the same, meaning the same foods and same amounts. Needless to say, you're better off setting your own goals and use it only as a loose guideline.

This. By adding distance, you will naturally become faster. It's typically a recipe for injury to try speed work too quickly. Even personally, I have now been running a little over a year, and just started incorporating speed work into my runs after running a few 5k-10k races and a half marathon. A better suggestion for…

I'm not going to lie, when I think of "taller girl," I think back to my days of binge watching America's Next Top Model. The cut off to enter was typically 5'8" with a few 5'7" girls slipping by.. not that I tried to enter or anything. Somehow my perception of height has forever been altered by my intrigue…

I only have experience with Arctic Zero, and what I have found with shirts like that, they work decently well at absorbing the moisture without getting heavy or sticky. I can't say for sure if they cool me down or if it's a placebo effect, but the lightness of them garners preference over a normal cotton tank top or shirt…

One of my nicknames in school was f'n Amazon. And I didn't even hit 6 foot. So yes, 5'8" and above for females is generally seen as tall.

I missed the headache part, so it looks like tea is the only option for reducing the headache to keep the caffeine intake if diet soda is out. Or stop all together, suck up the headache for a few days, then start drinking noncaffeinated drinks. But that's a complete personal choice.
-
+1 for this too. I don't know how they get so much flavor into a diet soda. It astounds me to this day.
-
Well seeing that diet is out, have you tried any of the carbonated waters? I know Walmart has their own brand along with many other chains. I find that my desire from soda stems from wanting the carbonation and nothing more. So whenever I quit soda, I'd go for those.

My favorite is when I walk into the girls locker room and see them wrapping themselves in Saran Wrap. The thought of it makes my stomach itchy and warm.
