Day 20, the 1st of May (77.25mi): We entered The Old Forest through a really creepy looking tunnel... Day 26, the 7th of May (99.37mi): After getting lost in the Old Forest for a few days, today we ended up at some really weird guy named Tom Bombadil's house. Day 30, the 11th of May (113.4mi): We were captured by wights in…

Day 12, the 23rd of April (46.72mi): We had a couple scares with black riders but managed to escape. On this night we camped at Woody End, overlooking the village of Woodhall. Day 16, the 27th of April (60.52mi): We crept into Farmer Maggot's fields, hehe. Can you see me? Thankfully he couldn't :) Day 19, the 30th of April…

I'm going to update soon

As someone who moves around a lot, it can be like that everywhere, at least within the expat communities. I've wondered if staying in the same place would help me, so I'm hoping to try that this move. We'll see if I can do it. I haven't stayed anywhere for more than nine months in five years...

Haha yeah, it is! I'll move on the 15th. The girl currently living there is moving in with her boyfriend. I got really lucky by seeing her post in a Facebook group, and the guy who owns the place was so excited about the possibility of having a native English speaker live there to practice his English (which doesn't bother…

I'm obviously not a guy but I got my cartilage pierced with a safety pin (sterilized with vodka) when I was totally drunk...

Being new to my city I decided to give Meetup a go again and have had a ton of luck making new friends that way. If you're in a place where Meetup is active I'd recommend giving that a try.

I've had a crazy weekend so far. I was adopted and after months of searching for my birth family I found my birth mother...

How was it?

This is just... ugh. I'm 250 pounds with fibromyalgia and dislocating kneecaps. What's a "ridiculously long time" for you may very well be my PR. It's attitudes like this that make me ashamed and afraid to sign up for runs and triathlons because I know I'll cross the finish line of a 5k at 45 minutes or a triathlon at…

Day 4, the 16th of April I walked 3.46 miles, bringing my total up to 16.44 miles from my dear family home. This leg of my journey was quite uneventful. I reached Stock Road and sang a little bit to keep my spirits up. Here's my view of The Shire from tonight's campsite:

Day 3: 5.97 miles, totaling 12.98. Today wasn't a great day. I had a meager supper, and we all know that as a hobbit that's just not good enough. I ate under some birch trees then moved on and while I could see Stock Road in the distance, I couldn't quite make it there before needing to sleep. (the road on the left of the…

I'm the opposite. When I eat breakfast I feel famished within an hour and wind up eating more throughout the day. When I skip it my hunger pangs are much more under control. I'm like a permanent IF'er because of it. I sometimes don't eat anything until 4-ish. But, I'm the weird person who can't drink coffee because it…

:D 3.59 miles today, totaling 7.01. I crossed the Great Road and entered Tookland. After 12 hours of walking today, though, I couldn't do much more so I stopped to rest. Tomorrow I plan to get out of sight of Hobbiton so that I stop looking back and can stop longing to go home. I'm going on an ADVENTURE!

:) Day 1 - 3.42 miles. I crossed the water on a bridge. I'm afraid of heights so it was really scary, and it was getting dark, so I stopped for the night. (Funny thing is, I just started playing LotRO again with a co-worker (I played pretty hardcore for a while)... so I'm going to do screenshots of my journey for giggles.…

I'm thinking of my slightly modified burpees. I would have to cut down the number a little, maybe 15/day?
-
I can't do jumping jacks (I can't really do static jumping due to knee issues) but I'll see if I can substitute something else for them :)

Can you link to your group again? Edit, nevermind I see it now at the top of the page *facepalm*

Hey there, it's too late to join you on your particular quest, but I'm going to embark on my own :)

I keep seeing ads on the bus stops here and the main character looks hot so I'll definitely be checking it out when I can ;)

My sleep according to my FitBit... note, I have it so it shows my movement as awake time. I try, and fail, to get enough sleep and I know it's a severe hindrance to my weight loss. I'm going to bring it up to my doctor next time I see her because it's getting ridiculous. (side note: don't mind the time I went to sleep...…

It was tough but there were about 30 other people in the group that went with me and I only knew one, so I told myself I was going to have control so that I didn't look weak and like the (awful and not true) stereotypical "fat girl who eats everything in sight" in front of everyone

Today I had made a goal to go for a walk but my foot is hurting pretty bad when I walk. It's ok when I'm sitting or laying but the pressure from walking hurts it. I'll ask my doctor about that when I see her on Thursday because this is really strange. I suppose I'll have to go with a goal of 2.5 liters of water. 'Course…

I read it as Level 1, Day 2. since you're supposed to do each level for 10 days, a lot of people say, "I'm on Level 1 Day 5" or "I'm on Level 3 Day 3"
