Because many people thought 2 pounds a week for a 30 pound loss was too much. However, I don't always eat my calories at 1200 (I know I should) and I'm not sure if increasing it is going to help..

Also, 2 pounds a week is what's recommended for me at WW as well when I went, with a starting weight of 193

I am 5"4' and weigh 189. Id like to lose the 2 pounds per week. Sometimes I'm over my calories goal, sometimes I'm under, it depends.. I know girls who weigh 145 and eat 1200!

When I did weight watchers, that would happen to me, however it is important to remember that you said you had an amazing week, focus on your EATING success rather than what the scale showed and don't give up!!

I just completed my first week as well!! I lost 3.7! :) way to go!!

I did WW last Jan and lost 20 lbs by April, however I find it very tedious to spend 20 minutes a day calculating when I can just plug it into MFP. I love it here
