I'm at 9,064 steps and 21 floors so far. I find it's best when you have a sedentary job (I do) to get up several times during the day and get walking. I do the same for stairs. Once an hour I get my butt up and do stairs or walk around my building (inside or out). I take a walk during my 30 minute lunch break, then eat.…

Customer service is pretty marvelous. My base died and after walking through the process of trying to reset and rehab it - they sent me a brand new one very quickly. Nice people, easy to work with. No issues whatsoever.

They don't come with a manual. It directs you to a website and the website walks you through set up. I found it very easy. I'm unsure what the issue with yours might be? Did you go to the site? I've set up two with no problem... :/

I find it best to do a full purge of junk food until I can safely eat a small amount at a time without giving in to cravings. On most good days I can eat half of a donut and be satisfied - because all I want is that little bit of sweet. On bad days I CAN eat so many. So until I get good hold on cravings, I avoid altogether.
