I put the whole potato in the microwave, and cover it, which makes it moister. But my favorite way is to cut it up into wedges, toss with a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper, and roast in the oven for about 30 minutes.

I learned my lesson the hard way - a year and a half ago I was running alone in my neighborhood around 8pm, when a man tried to attack me - successfully fought him off, thankfully, but it scared the everliving crap out of me. I love running, and I LOVE running alone, but it simply isn't worth the risk to me. I found a…

Thanks :) Like another poster said, though, I think the most impact comes from eating right. I used to run, a few years ago, and NEVER looked like this. My body only really changed when I concentrated on eating the right way...

I've found two things help the most... first strength training and pilates have significantly helped my endurance, particularly for my long runs (6+ miles). Also, eat more. But, for me, I need to spread out the extra calories over the week rather than bulk up on my run days. I tend to get really sick to my stomach if I eat…

This is what running did for me... along with better eating habits: The top photo was in August, when I was only walking to stay in shape. The same week this photo was taken, I started a running regiment, 3 times a week, for 30 minutes, slowly building up to a distance of 10 miles on my long run on the weekend. Not only…

Ok, I will keep at it and have faith in the process, and stop obsessing about the scale. Or, at least, I'll try... thanks everyone!

I am trying, I really am! I'm trying to spread it out more throughout the week rather than bulk up on food on the days I'm working out, by adding another 150-200 calories per day. The last time I tried to eat back 1000 calories burned from a long run, I ended up vomiting all night, so I'm trying to ease my body into it.…

I reached 180lbs with each pregnancy, and my last c-section was in 2009. Right now, I'm 120lbs and I fit into a size 4 dress, and the flab, stretch marks and horrific shelf have diminished signifnanctly! I still have a little shelf, but it's getting smaller and smaller everyday... First pic is from last August, when I made…

I've had two c-sections... and I topped out at about 180lbs each pregnancy even though I'm only 5'4. My last c-section was in 2009 - the c-section bump isn't entirely gone, but I've been working hard and it's come down considerably. And I managed to bring my weight down to 120lbs. Just posted some pics I took of a few…

Thanks everyone :-)

I use it to make granola - a whole lot less sugar and oil, no chemicals and the coconut oil gives it the perfect flavor...

Some of my favorites: Baby carrots with light laughing cow swiss cheese or guacamole (preferably Trader Joe's reduced guilt guac) Babybelle light cheese with apple slices String cheese Cottage cheese with fruit Greek yogurt with lowfat granola and banana slices Trader joe's lentil and potato curly chips (31 chips for 130…

OMG, in my dreams!! But thank you... Sounds like the overall consensus is #2. That's if it still fits :-)

Thanks... I look forward to it, no doubt

Reunion is in NYC so I guess it depends on NYC weather in April! What's really weird is that the shoes are new too because apparently I lost weight in my feet and went from a size 6.5/7 to a size 6. So, now I can say goodbye to my boobies, bras and shoes... ha!

That's basically me.. I'm 5'4 and started at exactly 138lbs which is the first pic. I'm not quite at a 20lbs loss yet, but close at 120lbs:
-
5'4 - before I was 140lbs, and size 8-10 pants Now I'm about 120lbs and a size 4 pants

5'4 Before I was 140lbs, and a size 8-10, s/m on top Now I'm about 120lbs, and a size 4 bottom, xs on top

I'm an attorney, working full time, with 2 kids. The only way I make it work is by having a family-friendly, flexible job where I can work from home 1-2 days a week and by having an incredibly supportive husband! He agreed to handle the mornings so I can go into work uber early, at 6:30am. The benefit of that is that I get…

I'm 5/4 - started in August around 140lbs. Now, I'm at about 120lbs. Training for a half marathon right now, and working on toning up so I want to gain some lbs in muscle, rather than lose anymore...

Excellent, thank you everyone!

Awesome, thanks!!

Ok, I'll check it out, thanks. The absolute last thing I want to do is get injured and have to stop running, so I'm taking this seriously!

Thanks!
