Hey I think your goal is 100% realistic. I am 5'7 started with mfp August 24, 2011 at 156... by Dec 10th, I was 139.8. My overall goal is about 130lbs... with muscle definition... You can do it!

Yes, get used to people mis-judging then WOWING them with the fact that thy are wrong,.. use that as amunitiion to fuel your healthy habits.. and btw.. you do "look the part" you are doing awesome!

Yep... and am also not going to shame myself if I go over... because I am excited to enjoy some home cooking and homemade treats Life/ health is all about balance... if most of the days are awesome nutrient wise.. then sure enough you are able to enjoy a few days a year on the other side of the spectrum!

I think you need to breathe and realize how far you have come, there is NO way you are going to slip back into your old habits... plus you have a young family that will keep you busy enough to burn it off without really having to try Try building on the base you have made... so you have mastered the calorie intake control…

a little tip I have found is eat only what is not processed... so enjoy the meats, veggies, fruits... homemade treats... Stay away from chips, store bought trail mixes, chesses, chessy dips & fried stuff....

I think if you are sore and are not working the exact same muscles... then go workout out on it, just make sure you stretch really well first. If you are sore, feeling injured or are working the same muscles, either rest or work on another machine or body part.

when I noticed that EVERY pair of pants in my closet closed with a prayer.... I was having to wear longer shirts to cover up my inability to close my pants properly... so thought NO MORE, not buying all new pants..

The cardio in Insanity is mostly circuit training... squats, lunges, jumping etc... Is great because all you need is a mat- no equipment necessary AND it used your own body weight... would be suprised to see how quickly your legs, arms, abs & butt start to look/feel more toned!

I have done both and had great results.. I prefer cardio, circuit type workouts.. so Insanity is my preference... but if you want crazy long lean muscle definition go with p90x

well, is this "tip you received" something you are willing to do long term. If you are doing something you cannot sustain long term... then how are you going to keep the weight off permanently?
