This made me laugh! I spent many nights with those books, a bottle of wine, and some Chinese take out.

Let me know when they make the Sleeping Beauty series from Anne Rice into a movie.

Sometimes I role play that I run. :ohwell:

The suspense is killing me! This is more interesting than the original thread!

Oh honey! I wish I could hug you and at the same time shake you and make you take a hard look at yourself. You have the classic signs and symptoms of Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I just spent the last 10 minutes looking through all your old posts since you have been a member here and it's heart breaking. This isn't for…

I work for a non profit that emphasize healthy living for the body and spirit. My co-worker and I started working out every day and eating right and we both lost a significant amount of weight. Our PR department told the local news who came to do a story on us. The camera man interviewed us and then wanted some shots of us…

You are over on the day by 200 calories. I wouldn't call that a binge. You ate fast food. Big deal. No reason to beat yourself up over it or say that it will never happen again. Because I can assure you, it will. Relax. There's no reason to panic. As far as eating with your mother, contrary to popular belief, you can eat…

Memphis here.

Don't beat yourself up. You'll just get down on yourself which will lead an emotional eater to eat. Then, you'll feel bad for eating, beat yourself up again, and eat some more. It's a vicious cycle. You got this! You obviously have the want. You know what you NEED to do. You know what is required of you. You just struggle…

Whenever I feel my will power going, I come to MFP and read the boards. I look at the before and after pictures of the people that have lost weight. I read the posts and comments and sip on hot green tea. Something about occupying myself by reading every one else's success stories helps get me through that urge to binge.

Twister!

I gave up the word "diet".

Thanks y'all for the advice and encouragement. Same routine today after resting all weekend and I NAILED it! You guys rock!

My arms routine is bench pressing (75 lb), lateral arms raises (15 lbs), bent rows (25 lbs), lat pull downs (80 lbs), concentrated curls (25 lbs), and shoulder presses (20 lbs). Every other day I do legs. Start all of it off with 20 minutes of cardio and then rest on Saturday and Sunday. It was designed for me by a trainer…

At one point I was benching 110, 3 sets 7 reps. Then I had a rotator cuff injury and stopped heavy lifting for a while to let that heal. Right now, I'm just trying to get back to that strength point. Even getting up to that 110 pounds, I never experienced failure. This was definitely a humbling experience for me.

Lose weight you will!

Wait...I have one more question. If I quit smoking immediately, where do I March? In Place? In a Parade? In Brown Land? I want to lose weight without diet or effort, but I don't understand your instructions!!!
-
Where is this "Brown land" that you speak of?

Good for you for going in the morning! I love my sleep to much, so I sacrifice my lunch hour instead! Your routine looks pretty solid. Any type of weight training is always a good start. My only advice would be to try and work your way away from the machines. You don't realize how much the machines are aiding you until you…

One summer I pretty much ate only grilled chicken, watermelon and fresh pineapple. Had the worst tongue ulcers of my life but I loved every single meal.
