^^ This! It's glorious.

Yes, eat more.

I mix vanilla flavored protein powder with my strawberry yogurt. If you close your eyes and wish really hard it starts to taste like strawberry cheesecake.

^^ This. Citrus and black bean salad with avocado. Oh dear God...it's pretty much a religious experience (if you believe in that sort of thing). I think I posted the recipe (and nutrition info) on here a while back.

I have the Polar F6 and love mine.

Feel free to add me, as well.

For years I didn't drink a single glass of water. I hated it. I drank somewhere between 5-10 diet cokes in a day. I'm still alive, proving that you don't HAVE to drink 8 glasses of water in a day. I now CHOOSE to drink 15-20 glasses of water in a day (because I do like it and I feel better when I am hydrated), proving that…

I'm on my second time around shredding. Level 1, day 2 is today. It's not as hard as it was the first time around!

This. When I was most successful with my weight loss I was eating a cup of 2% cottage cheese every day, either for lunch or for dinner. I ultimately lost 47 pounds doing this. (Note: It wasn't just the cottage cheese. It's no miracle food. But like many others have said, if you have the calories for it, eat it. It provides…

Yes! Once I lose it all I plan to continue logging, just to keep myself in check. I'm a MFP lifer.
-
47 pounds. I lost it when I first joined here, met my bf and stopped logging. That was the beginning of the end for me.

This. And for the exact same reason! I'm usually huffing and puffing by this point and I can trick my body into thinking that I'm resting while I'm working my arms. I like the crunches where you have your foot on your knee. For some reason those are way easier for me than a regular crunch or those god awful bicycle…

A friend of mine gained weight while on Mirena, but it was in the form of a baby. Twice. Clearly that was not the proper form of BC for her. (Either that or her doc had inserted it wrong) I don't think she gained any weight from it prior to that little mishap, though, if that helps any.

^^^ This. The scale does lie. Ignore it. Throw it out. Hide it in another room of the house. Buy a tape measure and only listen to that. It will become your new best friend, I promise.

My guess is she's used to dancing for dollars, so it probably went quite well.

I think her pimp probably did.

I work in an office and I don't have a door, just one of those little Office Space style cubes. Most exercises are impossible for me to do on my breaks, but I have started doing calf raises while I'm at the water fountain, washing my hands in the bathroom, waiting for my lunch to warm up in the microwave. I'm shocked at…

This hasn't happened to me...it would probably scare me into thinking I had been removed to low activity in the thread here. :embarassed: Glad you're back now!

I've heard of some people sleeping in their workout clothes so they're already dressed and ready to go in the mornings. This doesn't work for me because I find yoga pants to be extremely comfortable so I just roll over and go back to sleep. Unfortunately I can't be of much help in the advice department here; I am NOT a…

This absolutely terrifies me! I'd have to turn the phone completely off. Math+me = big time fail But this is an awesome idea!

The best results I had with toning this area was when I was doing the 30 day shred and 15-30 minutes on the elliptical every day. I would do this 4-5 times a week and within 2 weeks I saw a noticeable difference.

So what you're saying is...all the stupid people in the world are really just dehydrated?! Good to know! I'll offer them a water bottle from now on!
-
It's normal for me, but it's more important to find what is normal for your body. I seem to fluctuate between 2-3 pounds all week long and then usually the day before I weigh in for my challenge I find that the scale has dropped to my 'new' weight. Congrats on your loss! Keep up the fantastic work!

Why punctuation is important: Let's eat, Grandma! Let's eat Grandma! Punctuation saves lives.

Feel free to add me. I'm a grad student as well, so I understand the busy schedule!

Me! This is day 2 of my second time around. I'm loving it, as always. Of course it's way better when it's on mute and you don't have to listen to Jillian say "I've got 400 pound people who can do jumping jacks. If they can do them, so can you"
