So whaddaya say we start some kind of check in or group or something? I'm not sure how to get started, but how about we weigh in here once a week and tell how many pounds we're lost for the week/how our week is going etc? Sound good?

Where have you been? Lol. The Live Action Death Note movies have been out for some time. I think there are 3 or 4, but I've only seen the first 2. I actually was introduced to Death Note through the movie. I always knew it was an anime, but I saw the movies first, then the anime. It's a great series.

In this case, I would think that your job would count as daily activity, not actual exercise. For example, reading burns calories, as does watching TV, but you're also burning calories just by doing nothing, so you wouldn't log any of these activities as exercise. If you logged your job as exercise, and you already set you…

It seems this post has been officially hijacked! :drinker: lol. Sorry. Back on topic. I've only watched the biggest loser a few times, but when my fiance and I watch it I always end up mentioning to her that they must eat THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of calories in order to keep up that exercise. And I also mention that it…

If that's the case, then I would get the same result if I ate maintiance and then created a deficit with exercise, right? I just always though of exercise as a way to get that extra "bang for your buck" when it comes to creating a deficit. This may not be the right way of thinking, but eating back my calories burned would…

I saw this come up in another topic, and I'm kind of confused. When I enter in my exercise in my log, my calories are adjusted and it says I have more calories left even if I've already reached my intake maximum. Wouldn't eating back my calories burned defeat the purpose of creating a deficit in the first place? Can…

Okay, I was wondering about this, but it may be a bit off topic. So, according to MFP, when we exercise, we should eat back the number of calories we burned? So is that why when I add in my exercise it still tells me I have calories left to eat when I've already hit my target intake? This makes no sense to me. I mean, I…

Hey, so... This may be a stupid question, but what is MFP?

Hey folks, new to the site! I migrated from Calorie Count! Great site, but the database was too small! This site seems 100 times better! I'm not new to dieting.or calorie counting (been doing that for about 6 months now) and I have lost about 65 lbs since then (went from 276 to 220). I just started P90X about 2 months ago…
