  • Hey there fellow flip floppers - my name is Rhenee and I am up for being in a group that REALLY motivates one another. I am so tired of joining groups and after a week or so, the group petering out. I also get tired of the people that only post so they can get feedback and never read other peoples post to offer feedback.…
  • I have been comparing this to TapoutXT and so confused as to which one would be better. Have you ever looked at the TapoutXt? I definitely want to get one of these programs....just trying to make up my mind!!
  • I never had gone before because of the craziness I would see on television but last year I talked my husband into it and we had a blast!! It was funny to watch people hovering over the stuff they wanted and I watched people bust pallets of shrink wrapped stuff and have it gone in a matter of seconds. Walmart doesn't have…
  • Wow - seeing your before and after pictures are inspiring!!! You look great!
  • Thank you so much for sharing all of that. All of that kind of stuff is why so many of us continue failing at our weight loss attempts. Things get tough, we feel grumpy....we get crampy...nothing is going smoothly and so it becomes a good excuse to fail. Your story is what we all need to hear to help motivate us and push…
  • Hey there - I have had TurboFire for about 9 months now and picked it up, put it away, picked it up and put it away. I don't have any good excuse for not sticking with it but I am picking it back up tonight!! I will send you a friend invite so we can keep up with each other!.

  • That is a great accomplishment - it is hard to stick with something for 7 days, especially eating healthy. They say if you do somethig for 30 days straight it becomes a habit! I can do really good through the week but the weekends tend to fall apart for me. It it isn't that I eat bad, I just eat more and finding time to…
  • Wow - that was so fun. I made my model the weight that I was when first started too with my loss so far and it proves that every lit bit counts!
  • Those chicken and steak fahita nachos with extra sour cream don't seem so bad now. Thank you for posting that. I think we all sometimes take this weight loss thing way way too serious and that is why we hate the process so much. It took years for some of us to gain our weight and some of us have carried extra pounds all of…
  • You know what I wonder about cellulite? I wonder why I am 40 pounds overweight and burdened by it and my sister is 90 pounds over weight and has never, ever had a dimple....except for the ones on her cheeks on her face!!! UGH!!
  • Completey understand Jennifer - when I got my little boy (West Highland Terrier like on the Caesar dog food commercials) it was just like having a baby all over again but I wanted to make sure I trained him properly. It isn't right to get a puppy and not spend the time they need with them. Oliver is my little man now at 3…
  • Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes - it was just getting a little past weigh in time and I didn't see a post for our Week 3 weigh in.
  • Loved reading your post - thank you for sharing. I am 47 and been struggling to lose weight for over a year. It seems I continue losing and gaining the same 5-8 pounds over and over and over. I just googled Eat Stop Eat and I am ordering it tonight!!! It makes perfect sense for me. Thank you for sharing.
  • On MFP I know that Gold is an activity under Cardiovascular. I imagine bowling is too because playing catch with a baseball is on there as well. It as you how many minutes you did the activity and then calculates the calories burned.
  • I agree with you about a smaller, more intimate group. I have joined at least 6 other groups on MFP and within a week people started dwindling away and I have also found that in a really large group, most people don't really read what other's replied on a post so there is no encouragement to each other. Let's just commit…
  • By the way....what is a burpee? I think I can do 30 of them.....hahaha!!:blushing:
  • Hey Amanda - I know that life can throw some curve balls and when that happens we need to pay extra attention to our health and our emotional needs. I am sorry that you are going through a trial but I will be praying for you. Jennifer - thank you for picking up the ball for Amanda and keeping the group going!!
  • Accept! Here is my list: 35 Jumping Jacks 60 squats (20 feet together, 20 feet shoulder width apart and 20 feet wide) 15 Push Ups (any way you can muster them) 3 sets of 1 minute planks
  • What is the deal here? This group has 137 members and only 7 weighed in for the second week. I was hoping this group would be an active one where everyone really wanted to support one another and receive support. I have joined other groups trying to find a real support group but this seems to always happen. Everyone starts…
  • My husband turned our pasture into a 5 hole golf course (hilarious) but true. Every night we have gone out and played golf on our little course, practicing for a men's tournament at our church coming up at the end of September. Approximately 250 men play and I am always the only woman on the course playing - don't know why…
  • I a so glad you started this post. I am 48 years old and get so discouraged over all these other fitness workout DVD's that say anyone can do them.....right!! My sister currently has 3 active brain anuerisms and hasn't been able to workout for a long time. She just bought some beginning yoga DVD's because she has gained a…
  • My goal by Christmas is 25 least 20 pounds. I am wanting to be 40 pounds lighter by June 1 so 20 will get me half way there!!

  • Hey Jenbk2 - ditto on the "fear of turbo fire". I did Turbo Jam about 5 years ago and am starting Chalean Extreme this monday. I have had Turbo Fire for about 5 months now and every time I give it a shot, I give up. I haven't worked out in a long time so I thought that I was just too out of shape to handle it and I had…
  • Hard boiled eggs are one of my easy go to snacks or breakfast meals. I keep some in the frig so I can just grab one here and there. I probably eat 6 a week on a regular basis and my colesteral is perfect.
  • My weight loss goal is 38.2 so I need to lose 1.03 each week - that is definitely managable as long as I behave!!! I actually could manage that if I just maintained an exercize program!!
  • Day 5 - really been focused these past couple of days. I think it finally sunk in that I am truly tired of starting and restarting, losing 5 pounds only to regain it. Last week I made a HUGE step as far as my health was concerned and today is day 8th that I have not given in so if I can do that.....I can lose this weight!!!
