THIS! However, I try to pick an IPA around 180-200 calories and have less alcohol... because I can't give them up completely!

Alcohol does terrible things to your body and waistline. Just give it some time, keep on trucking along, you WILL see a difference!

I believe mine is at least a lot more accurate than the treadmill says, or MFP calculates. I have a lower heart rate when I workout than most people do because my resting heart rate is also a lot lower.

It's about changing your relationship with food so that it's healthy. Before I started logging on MFP, I was not exercising a whole lot and I ate all the wrong foods. One day, I tried a little extreme version of clean eating and started to eat paleo. I did this for 3 weeks, lost 5 pounds, and that changed my relationship…

Usually around 2,000-2500. Should be under 1400, but I find I still lose weight, with all the exercise I do.

I agree with the other posters about using a Hal Higdon training program. I am using one right now to train for a full marathon in 30 weeks. I like it because the mileage builds slowly, so my body has time to get used to it.

I'm adding in 4 days a week of running and 1 day of cross training, can be walking or something more fun.

I started on Monday.. I did a few weeks of the original and saw pretty good results. I also mix in 5 days of running, as I'm training for a marathon (very slowly!) that I'll be running in October. I definitely feel sore today after day 2!

Just move on from it.. the other night, I went out and had dinner. I planned everything out, decided I'd treat myself to 1 beer.. well 1 turned into 3, and before you know it, dinner was over 2,000 calories. I woke up feeling cruddy and with a hangover. I did an extra workout (not too much, like 2 extra miles on the…
