  • drizzle maple syrup on salmon and bake for 15 min- yummy! I also like to mix ketchup, soy sauce, mustard and garlic, marinate, then bake- good on salmon or chicken. (sorry I do not have exact messurements- play with consistency and taste that you like.
  • I love spinning. It is a great workout and yes the seat will hurt- but it gets better with practice. I would see if you gym has a beginners spin class to try or ask around who is the easier instructors. The best part of spin- is regardless of what the instructor says to do-YOU control it on your own bike. If you get tired-…
  • sodium is in everything! there is a LOT of sugar in fruits.
  • Consider it a game. My scale consists of which spot on the bathroom floor gives me the lowest number. I HATE all the fluctuations from night to morning, morning before peeing, morning after shower and morning after I eat. It really is crazy. Thanks for the suggestions. It may be time to look into a new scale....
  • Great suggestions. Thank you. Now I need to find a few hours of free time to search these sites! Sharon :)
  • Go to a high end store and get fit correctly. Then I love to order from Bravissimo. They are well made bras and much cheaper than at stores. YOu will pay for shipping- so I usually order a few. Their sports bras are awesome!! They also sell clothes for shapely girls!
  • thanks for your advice. FYI- I do use a digital scale. Also- my baseline cals are 1600- this is assuming I am sedentary during the day (which I am not- I am a pediatric therapist). MFP originally had my baseline cals at 1800 which was way too high- still trying to figure out where I should be with calories and knowing I…
  • Thanks for the link- love new recipes!
  • I told my husband when I was pregnant with my 2nd son. I weighed more at the time and I needed to be accountable to someone so I wouldn't gain too much weight. It was really hard- I had NEVER told anyone my weight before. I carry my weight really well and weigh much more than anyone would guess. Now it is nice that it is…
  • I feel your pain. My scale is constantly up and down and I am still trying to figure it out. This week, I blame it on PMS and water retention. So far I have tried- drinking more water, watching my sodium levels and my newest is eating more protein. I haven't been too successful but I want to hear what others have to say…
  • My weight seems to fluctuate up and down 2-3 pounds. I drink a ton of water. I just thought it might be something to "watch" and see if my weight starts to go in the RIGHT direction. Thanks for the help. Love almonds! :)
  • Try some completely new exercises that you have not done before. It is a great way to shock the body. If you have been doing the same routine your body gets used to it. I also agree to add some weights- alternate with cardio to make it a form of interval training. Good luck!
  • I feel the same. I just started. I also do strength training with my cardio- so I know I am burning calories. Curious what others suggest... Maybe record your workout as interval training under cardio?
  • i have been doing WW and lost about 8 lbs easily on their new system and then hit a plateau. I thought I would try this- sounds like it is working. I love that so many brands/ restaurant foods are on here and you do not have to guess. I seem to be able to eat more here- somehow I hope this works because more food is always…
