I cook the meals so my husband eats whatever I make. He eats out for lunch while at work. However, that being said, if there was a time he didn't want to eat what I'm making, yes, he's on his own. Otherwise, we compromise. I still eat everything I did before. We still will order out Chinese or Pizza. I just eat less of it…

I've never used it, but IMO, there needs to be more info and studies about it before jumping the gun. There's only been 1 human study with it and the people using it were obese postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes. There's just not enough studies to actually conclude that it's going to help. Don't jump the gun because…

I just work all the foods I love into my calorie goal, and in moderation. If I restrict myself, it's going to backfire in a major way.
-
This.

All of them. It's not what I eat, it's the quantity.

Because weight loss isn't linear.

What you're doing wrong is having unrealistic expectations. You just had a baby. That's a major trauma on your body. Your body needs time to adjust and heal itself. So in the meantime, be kind to your body. Feed it adequate nutrition to support you and baby and then when your OBGYN gives you the ok, start LIGHT exercises.…

They're good in a pinch. Would rather have homemade stuff though if I have the time.

Not sure why this is such a surprise to you. Even a regular Thomas bagel at that weight would be 372 calories. Not sure what you were expecting after being at this for as long as you have.
-
In short, yes, you're doing yourself more harm than good. With your stats, you should be eating alot more than that (calorie-wise).
-
This. Your goal isn't realistic, to be honest. Purchase some spanx and an outfit that is flattering. Otherwise, jut enjoy the nostalgia.

Yes, there alot of people that like to collect friends on MFP, and it's not limited to men. Yes, there are people who want you to send them pictures, particularly nudes. Yes, there are creepers and trolls. Be glad that they dropped you. P.S. _Waffle_ wins the internet for use of Jon Tron gifs.

I got this for my 7 year old and tried it this week. The cake is surprisingly fluffy and fresh tasting. Other ice creams have cake bits that taste much more stale and hard. I was really surprised, but then, Blue Bunny has done a great job rebranding themselves. All of their flavors I've tried recently have been over the…

Special K Protein. Add raisins and it's like raisin bran.

We live in a world of instant gratification these days. Unfortunately, there's no instant gratification in weight loss. Sometimes you just have to step back and reset your mindset. As for motivation, just take it one day at a time. Do things that you truly enjoy and things won't feel like a chore.

All you need is a deficit. Log your foods on MFP, follow your calorie goal and if you're doing it properly, you will lose weight.
-
Logging takes maybe 5 minutes, tops. It's especially easy since there's the mobile app, which is great for eating out or being on the run. Alternatively, log everything in the morning and adjust throughout the day. This way you have a plan for the day.
-
Invest in a food scale, set a moderate calorie goal, log everyday, get some exercise if you can and profit.
-
I ran a 5k a few weeks after completing it and my official chip time was 32:33, so like 10:30 per mile. Oddly enough I run faster on pavement than I do on the treadmill. On treadmill I tend to go about 3 minutes slower per mile.
-
Tighten up the logging, weigh your food with a food scale, reassess your calorie goal, etc.
-
It's probable.

It's not accurate, take it with a grain of salt. Mine for a long time was +/-2 lbs off, these days though, it's been saying I'd be 125 lbs for about 6 months. So... yea....

When it's an everyday struggle, it becomes a big deal. Believe me. It's beyond annoying. Even just reaching for cereal on top of the fridge is not something easily done. Everyday simple tasks just aren't simple when you have to pull out and unfold a step ladder, get said item down, try not to fall down on your way down,…

Yeah, pretty much this. I get kind of antsy if I haven't logged something.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum. I'm short (aka petite). I'm 5'2. Now that I've lost 80 lbs and am in the healthy range, I finally see myself (on some days) as one of those petite people you speak of. Other days though I still see myself as the obese blob I remember seeing in the mirror. As a short person, I envy…

Start with using MFP. Log your food, try to stick to your (appropriate) calorie goal, exercise when you can and profit.
-
My wallet hurts from replacing all of my clothes (even though I shop mostly clearance). Also, my boobs.... are severely lacking these days.
-
14 lbs isn't results? I must be living in a different universe. OP, perhaps you should readjust your expectations. Your results so far are very good. Keep going and you'll get more results, both on the same ale and physically. But you also need patience.

If you're struggling to eat even 1000 calories, you should talk to your doctor. I don't know why you would want to just eat chili. And to be honest, your chili is pretty lacking IMO. It's basically tomato soup with a can of beans thrown in. And 7 servings? Are you only eating like 150g of this stuff? Because that's not…
