I wear a heart rate monitor.... just go to exercise, my exercise, create exercise, put RIPPED IN 30 and 20minutes for 500 calorie burn. Thats how much I burn doing it (and its accurate since I wear my monitor) ... though bodies burn calories differently, I have found mine to be very accurate for me as a woman weighing 167…

Do your lifestyle as SEDENTARY... when you work out, go to exercise and enter your cardio there.... MFP will do the calculations for you as far as your calories. Do it this way because you typically will not burn the same amount every day and you should take a rest day.... on your rest day you do not want to over eat.

one cup as in a measuring cup marked one cup.... you fill it to the one cup mark......liquid, one cup is 8 ounces...

Just do what YOU want. If your friends don't support you being healthy, they aren't much of friends. I think they are probably not wanting you to change because they themselves are not confident. Just Keep Up The Great Work! Don't EVER let ANYONE bring you down or talk you out of being HEALTHY!!! You go girl!

awesome job! Very inspirational thank you for posting!!! I started over 220 pounds.... I have been stuck at the 167 pound mark for a couple of months now... happen to have any pointers? I work out 6 days a week and burn approximately 650 calories per workout. I am consuming about 1800 calories total. I am 5'4" :)

its not "worse" it is HARD. I can't compare insanity with any other cardio workout. it will kick ur butt and some. In the 90 days of insanity i only lost 3 pounds, however I lost almost 17 inches over my entire body and went from 27% body fat down to 22% it is def worth the time and effort.

No one is every "ready" in all aspects of life to have a child. As long as you feel that you will be able to provide for your child(ren) and give them the love they need, then it is the right time. There is no set age or time in life that is BEST.... If your lifestyle can accomodate a child and you know you can love and…

it is truly up to the parenting. I am a mom and my son happens to love greek yogurt, tofu, fish, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers and etc more than Junk food..... its a losing battle to say anything, however I completely understand your thoughts..... these other people who are ripping you a new one are on crack.... lol.... if…

Carbs are not bad, your body needs them. I focus on eating carbs in my first two meals of the day and then the rest of the day I just focus on fruits/veggies/protein. This helped me to lose weight even broke a plateau for me!

When I stopped taking Oxy Elite I did not gain a single ounce... now keep in mind that you still must eat "clean" to keep the weight off.... it doesn't just stay gone. I loved the product but I took the recommended month off and started taking it again and saw no more results. It could be because I am down to the last…

starvation mode is real. I dealt with it. eat a few more hundred calories but only in healthy foods such as salads and such. I also focus on eating the carbs only towards my morning meals and not later in the day. My later meals usually consist of vegetables and lots of them. I eat 6 times a day and my calorie goal is…

weigh it dry and log it as the "dry" weight.... when you cook it you are just boiling it in water, therefore it is absorbing zero calories... unless you are cooking it in something else.... I usually cook them in water and then add whatever else it is I am making with it, so that I know my calories are correct. 2 oz dry…

I would prefer my child to come to me and ask for the pill or condoms because I would much rather know that they are protected than come home pregnant. She is going to have sex whether on the pill or not most likely, so it is better to ensure she is protected. Make sure she simply knows that a condom is still needed,…

calories burnt vary upon the person/effort/their size etc....the best way to really track it is buying a heart rate monitor that tracks calories too. I bought mine at walmart for 25 bucks.

I am 5'3" and my ultimate goal is 140 pounds. I am bigger chested (and i don't lose boobs when i lose weight LOL) I look good and healthy still at the 140 mark. I do also have some muscle so I am not just skin and bones. Feel free to add me if you'd like :) I have pics on my profile.

take resistance bands for sure. walk everywhere possible. in your room you can do simple exercises like push ups, sit ups, squats, running in place, jumping jacks to get your heart rate up, etc. with the bands you will be able to add resistance to everything. wrap the bands around your feet, lift feet off floor and sit…

agreed. banana with peanut butter. or eat a veggie salad: 1 tomato, 1/2 bell pepper, 1/4 small onion, 1/3 avocado, 2 tbsp vinaigrette, 1/2 chopped cucumber, and 2 cups lettuce.....

diary being public would allow us to give you the best feedback we can. without seeing it, we are not able to see your consumption. Also, you need to try and change up your exercise -- if you currently do none, at least go for walks --- you will also be better off changing up your diet (even if you currently eat healthy)…
