  • I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Is it sensible to do this (I was thinking before work every morning) and keep up gym 3-4 times a week

  • Rice noodles are good.
  • Genuine question: why are bananas to be avoided? I eat fruit, I have a banana with yoghurt for breakfast to give me a much needed energy boost. Fruit is also a good source of fibre (according to my doctor).
  • Water weight most likely. I would recommend you measure yourself as that is a good way of measuring any loss.

  • spinach and guiness. Not together though as YUK
  • Get and ankle support and see a doctor
  • Get a pedometer, they track how far you walk. Work out how many steps you "normally take" and then aim to add 100 steps or so a week. It can seem hard at first but slow increases and not pushing yourself too hard is my advice. Also if you think you might get joint pain get some good ankle supports and open patella knee…
  • On the brightside I am a pear and hoard my flab on my hips, thighs and bum which is a "healthier" place to have fat apparently. That said I wish I did not have any flab!
  • vine leaves stuffed with minted rice!
  • I had a rest day on tuesday and it left me feeling really low and depressed so I did a 10 minute pilates session on my tummy. I know rest is important and I have decided not to work out on sundays and tuesdays. The issue I am having is that I am not losing weight. I know I am snacking which is bad (on bad things) but I…
  • Well done. Keep going strong!!!
  • I weigh myself twice a week. My weigh in day is sunday morning and then I weigh in on thursday. This means I know my rate going into the weekend and how many times I need to hit the gym/ how much I can eat.
  • My IBS plays up when I go away, it might just be the stress on your body of travel, unfamiliar water etc and the change in diet. Mine settles down after a few days and if not I tend to up my fibre content to help it settle.

  • No alcohol. I have a major diet rule that helps me. I can only drink on friday and sat night. I have had to get rid of sunday night due to last night's red wine making me feel poorly today. I Also when you do have a drink try to make sure it is low calorie mixer and 1 shot of spirit rather than beer or wine. These have so…
  • Thank you evegryone :)
  • I want to look like Caprica 6 from Battlestar Galatica. I have printed a pic of her for the fridge to stop me grazing. She has a similar body shape to me and if I lose the flab and 50lbs I should look like her!!!
  • Try measuring yourself by an item of clothing. I have 3 pairs of trousers that I am measuring myself by.
  • I am as well! - from Birmingham. Feel free to add!
  • I have started parking at the other end of the car park for the park and ride to add some exercise into my day. I would also recommend a short walk everyday and build up to longer ones. When going to the supermarket park further away so you have a little extra to walk. I hope the small changes make a big difference.

  • As soon as I could work out how to add people I will add you! I had some time off MFP due to a bout of the blues caused by family illness. Luckily my beautiful new born niece is out of the woods. However the comfort eating began and now I have put on 10lbs. I feel like I am back to where I started. Time to get back on…
