I have 100lbs to lose or so as well but I work in kgs good luck!!! I am trying to lose 1lb a week. My mum lost 4stone in 6 months and there is so much loose skin so I want to make sure mine is slow and I tone as well

try measuring yourself (hips, bust and waist) to see if you are losing size.

Swim for a bit. It is awesome exercise and makes a nice change. It also works different muscles to those you work in the gym/work out classes.

reverse crunches are good for abs. They make me cry when I do them. I hate them but they seem to work.

I am doing a MFP weigh at the end of most months now. I have hit my target for July! Now for end of August I want to be 170!

I have found the same problem. My dentist told me to stop drinking so much diet coke as it was not helping my teeth as well. I would say ween yourself off diet coke and drink water instead if you think it is making you hungry. If you think something is making you hungry or gain weight, it is usually best to avoid it.…

I wear makeup to the gym if I go there afterwork. Sometimes I look like a red panda after a work out. I once saw a man wearing makeup and with perfect hair in the gym. I was confused. Then again this thread confuses me.

Sounds strange but have a warm to hot bath. Soak until it gets cold. It helps me when I have martial arts strains (mainly on my thighs)

I dance in the shower, does that count? I could never do a morning workout. Sleep is too important to me and I usually need to work out after work as there is a LOT of pent up rage.

When I was at school (I left in 2003), from the ages of 4-18 I was fed rubbish. I was at a boarding school for a while and we had no choice for dinner, we had chips with everything. That Man by Caro Emerald for running Back to Black by Amy Winehouse for cross trainer anything by Thea Gilmore for weights etc. I also listening to Jamie Cullen's radio 2 jazz show last night and it was amazing to run to.

Stretch more after exercise (and before it). Drink low fat milk (it may not work for you but the protein boost helps me).

The more I clean up my diet the more sick I feel after eating junk food. That said everything in moderation. Seriously though, I had a Burger King last week and thought I was going to be sick all over Paddington Station (I was not BTW).

I work out after work for convenience. I also find it gets rid of the day stress. Work out when it is right for you I would say. Also make sure when you are working out you eat enough otherwise your body can get confused. Having watched a lot of the biggest loser I recommend low fat milk!

There is a guy at my gym who does what can only be considered as upside down chin ups. I think he is a gymnast, but he waits until a gym barbie is about then goes upsidedown on a chin up machine. It is awesome to watch but his 80s mullet makes the scene hilarious. Well it amuses me and that is what counts.

Tip I found good, if you want to run distance give yourself a period of time to run in, say 20 minutes. Run constantly at a set pace for that time and then incrementally build up speed. Then extend the time. I did it the other way round and it did not go well. This way is much better.
