I am addicted to Zumba. It really is about the instructor though~ I lost a dress size when I first started, doing it 5 times a week for an hour. It is the only indoor exercise that I will do. Two years-4 days a week!!

Trail mix is rarely low calorie, especially if you eat it without measuring it first. You may be better off with some pre-measured roasted almonds with a few chocolate chips thrown in...much more controllable. Also, I like to eat shelled pistacios (salt and pepper!) It takes time to shell them and they have lots of flavor…

When I stopped drinking sodas, even diet ones, my stomach reduced quite a bit. Water retention, I'm sure, but my clothes certainly fit better!

I had mine removed in 1990 and I take Leventhroid. Without this, I gain weight, have trouble sleeping through the night, loose hair, have dry skin, NO sexual appetite, etc. Look up symptoms of hypothyroidism...the most under diagnosed problem for women!!! Zumba is a blast and I am totally addicted to it. I dropped two dress sizes in four months while eating more. One caution, it can be hard on the joints, especially the knees. Wear good shoes and stretch. I go to a class...much more effective and motivating for me. Enjoy!
