Clearly there was a hot guy waiting to come out, and he did! You worked hard and it paid off. Bravo!!!

You're rocking that underwear pic! Awesome job!!!

Let that be your wake up call. There is a reason why 'di" is in diabetes, (i stole that from my daughter). Don't beat yourself up for not wanting to exercise. It will come. Losing weight and keeping it off is pretty much 90% diet anyway. I lost a lot of weight, like 40lbs before I began exercising.

Wow! It looks like you got a 'new' hubby too!!!

True that. Could not be any simpler than that!

Aw! What an amazing transformation! Thanks so much for sharing. You know we all love the before and after shots!

Hey girl, I'm friended you. Just a thought. If you break up the 125 lbs into much smaller increments, you'll feel a sense of accomplishment along the way. Like, when I began, I was nearly 200 lbs. Maybe reward yourself for each 10 lbs lost, or change your ticker to 25 or 50 lbs, and then when you've hit those extend it out.

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing! I like the smart way you styled your outfit by the way.

Now who's lecturing? SHE is a member of this site not her in laws. We're supposed to be supporting HER, sheesh! :noway:

This is so true! Please don't do it! I'm a nursing student, and I work at a hospital. There is ALWAYS risk with any surgery. I've seen way too many people DIE from complications, e.g. sepsis, embolism. When I saw the first case where this poor lady was in the hospital for MONTHS, her poor husband, by her side, the…

Used them in the past. They work fantastically, only once you stop them, you gain it all back. Any and every drug you take has side effects. Most folks on here are losing weight so that they can go off of medications. Just saying. Cutting back on carbs in a significant way will alleviate your cravings. I promise you!

I agree with this. Baby steps! Also get plenty of rest and if you're not already doing so, drink PLENTY water!

Obviously you really don't want to give up, otherwise you wouldn't be on here announcing it. Girl, I fell off the 'diet' wagon over the Spring/Summer break to the tune of a 30 lb weight gain! I REGRET IT SO MUCH!!! It would have been EASIER to not regain the weight, than what I have to go through now. Trust me, you will…

Just know that ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS in life, anything worth having, you have to work hard to get. If it were easy, EVERYONE would be beautiful and thin.

The group creator says that we need three people to start, and a name as well.

Me, me, me! 5'6", wanting to lose 40 to get to 135ish - would like to do it by May 15 nursing school graduation!

Honestly, when people say that they don't mean it as a scientific fact. They are just saying that to put it in perspective, so folks don't have unrealistic expectations.

I, like you am not brand new either. I started May 2010, lost 52 pounds, and then started to sort of fall off in the Spring. I have really had a hard time getting motivated again. I never participated in the message boards or added friends until now, so add me! :flowerforyou:

It took you 9 months to gain it, so figure 9 months to lose it and if you do it sooner, all the better!
-
Really? That's brilliant! How responsible and helpful of you, lol!

How about peanut butter, nuts, and protein shakes?

As long as you're using the same scale, at the same time of day, it doesn't really matter, as far as accuracy goes, if you think about it. :)

This is just a thought but I would bet that there are some very nice one's that people are selling used, CHEAP, just to get rid of them.
