660 cal - 57 g carbs and 31 g each protein and fat, with 2 measly grams of fiber

likeaslidingrock deactivated their account Frustrating. If you see this please come back, there are people on MFP who don't see the world in all black or white. Send me a FR and I'll introduce to you to some great MFP'ers that I have as friends who are supportive. I have suffered from anxiety attacks for years and know…

you forgot the next part: " just much more slowly than I would like. " I am in the same boat, sometimes it is at a snail's pace and do overestimate my calories eaten or calories burned. In fact I tend to overestimate both. Like when I work outside with my husband cutting wood, stacking it, building onto the house, chasing…

Agreed. Funny how so many of the calories in/calories out people are male (i.e. no PCOS). Don't think I am a male basher- I love my hubby, but damn he drove me nuts about this for a long time. My husband would tell me the same thing, he is eating the same things I am(only more!), he is working out with me too, and he is…

Whatever you are doing, try something different to shake things up! I agree with the logging- if it passes your lips log it in. I bought a digital scale and it is enlightening. I especially think it is important to weigh meat as eyeballing it can be inaccurate.

So this post is about confessions. I confess to adoring McD's steak, egg and cheese bagel!

FR sent! I drink some wine here and there and even some moonshine on occasion! Hey, it's low carb! I don't get the judgement on people's dairies. I don't have any friends that do that thank goodness.

My husband's a mechanic and uses Dawn on his hands to cut the grease ....and his hands are skinny! I will start using it on my belly.

"It rubs the silicon lubricant on its skin" doesn't have the same ring to it.

http://gawker.com/5704496/exciting-new-diet-craze-pee-injections To think when I was pregnant I could have been selling my pee!

Say what? I'm really just in this for the Buffalo Bill gif's, but I do agree w/ the poster about parabans in lotions and sunscreens soaking into your skin. I had problems with a steroid cream I was prescribed for a severe case of eczema once. It was probably helped along into my bloodstream b/c I had nasty cracks in my…

I applaud you, that is a lot of fiber. When I first started Metformin, I was suffering from IBS, so I really can't say how much more it affected my digestive system as I was all messed up to begin with! I saw a specialist and the first thing he told me was to up that fiber! BTW- for anyone with IBS I beat mine with the…

I agree with the low carb method. It is hard to lose weight w/ PCOS w/out dropping the carbs and I am certainly not always consistent with it. There is a low carb group on here, you can get ideas for meals there. Don't get discouraged about not losing immediately, PCOS is a real b*tch and sometimes you will feel like you…

OMG! I can't think of a better use of a gif. Zyxst, you are amazing.

I thought it was going to be b/c of xenoestrogens or something like that. There were incidents of young boys growing breasts b/c of the level of xenoestrogens in certain shampoos. They say truth is stranger than fiction, but finding truth out there is getting hard to do.

I have to go with Sam on this on. Shifters can be anything they want to be. I think it would be fun to be a cheetah because I am a slow *ss runner and would like to run fast.

I sent a FR- I post my food everyday. I do not however tell people they shouldn't eat something, but if you really want me to.... I know what you are saying though. I slide sometimes and think what would someone looking at my diary think?

Thanks for posting this, I usually just throw some marinara and grated Parmesan on it. I like having other things to do with it. Ruby Tuesday's has it as a side and theirs is just plain, very low in calories, but many people would be turned off by it if that was their first taste of it since it is so plain.

That sucks for you! I have the same reaction to cantaloupe and it is a favorite of mine. NOw for the bad for my health foods that taste so very good: McD's steak, egg, and cheese bagel Hot wings w/ lots of blue cheese dressing Bloomin Onion Red Velvet Cake Chocolate Cheesecake Sonic Peanut Butter/Chocolate Milkshake…

interesting, I was thinking the other day about the eat breakfast like a king, etc saying and this study agrees with that advice.

That dress is gorgeous! Congratulations! You are an inspiration!

My diary is open, feel free to add me. I try to preplan most days too.

I have eczema, but the only thing that helped after several doctors and going through lots of expensive steroid creams was changing my diet. I still get a flare up if I drink too much milk, half and half seems to be fine for me. I was allergic to milk as a baby so go figure. My hands would bubble and crack open and I had…

I was in the middle of a plateau and tried it for 2 weeks and it worked. I made mine with organic coffee, coconut oil, organic butter, and a bit of cinnamon or cocoa. It actually tasted good, like creamy coffee. I think blending it well is key to make it frothy. I wouldn't be hungry until well after my regular lunchtime…

i went from sweet tea to unsweetened and don't miss it one bit, but I just cannot seem to go to black coffee. I use about 2 Tbsp half and half and 1 packet of Purevia or Truvia (stevia) per mug. If can make your own instead of buying it from a coffee place you can then use that money to buy some excellent coffee. I am…

Here's to a speedy recovery for you! Try making some smoothies with chocolate protein powder, pb, ice and yogurt (a banana thrown in is good too).

We had 2 pigs butchered this spring and I was concerned with how to jazz up all the pork tenderloins and roasts we got, but thank goodness there are a million recipes out there. I usually cook a plain or slightly spiced roast in the crock pot for a traditional meat and potatoes meal and then use the leftovers for…

Cut a head into wedges and slather a bit of butter or olive oil, S&P, onion salt, spice blend, whatever spices you want on each wedge on aluminum foil, wrap it up and bake or grill it. I turn it over after 10 or 15 minutes and test for doneness by stabbing it with a skewer to make sure it's soft enough. The outter pieces…

I always wanted a pet snake, so being poor and unable to buy one, I caught a 5 foot black snake. I called my mom, told her it was a baby, about 1 foot long (she doesn't like them). I put it in a box and walked into town waiting on my mom to come get me and one of the coolest guys in town asked me what was in the box, so I…

Cicadas- when I was around 7 our area had a huge cicada hatch and I remember going outside putting my hand on a tree (not paying attention) and I heard crunching. There were shells all over the tree. So really just the icky shells they leave behind are creepier than the actual live bug. There's a pizza place that makes a…
