Grey Steaks Boneless pork chops (trimmed of fat - optional, the cooking process softens it so you can peel the little bit of fat of the cooked meat when it's done) Cream of mushroom soup Black pepper (optional) Sage(optional) Place the pork chops in the crock pot with the cream of mushroom soup and optional spices. Cook on…

Omron has me at 27.7% as of last week. I started at 30.1% in early January 2012. I'd like to get down to 20-22% and then decide once I'm there if I'd like to go lower.

Just what I was thinking! I downloaded for my Android. I'll tell my husband about it too.

All of this.

If you like pork try 1 package of boneless pork chops trimmed of fat, there should be about 3-4 chops in the package, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, black pepper and 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sage. Put it in the crockpot on low until the chops are done, 4-5 hours probably. I serve it with mashed or roasted potatoes, a green…

Yay for lifting heavy!

Wow, she's 73 years old?! I'd love to have her abs. Photoshopped, maybe to even skin tone, but the body itself, that's all natural. I they did a piece about her on NPR several months ago.

Yes, I absolutely log my "bad" days. The worst I've had was Christmas. It was a doozy. I consumed 4,000+ calories that day, yikes! I didn't do anything to recover from it. I just kept on moving.

I work full-time and have three children, a 5 1/2 year old, an almost 3 year old and a 6 1/2 month old. I exercise after work. I don't wake up super early though. I usually wake up between 6:30 and 7:00 am. I go to the Y and they have great child watch there for all the kids. Getting in a decent amount of exercise a week…

One more thought, it's been a while since I've been to the opera, but I think the second one is perfectly suitable. Plus, you're seeing Tristan & Isolde, a romance. I've read the Niebelungenlied, I'm so jealous you're seeing this opera!
-
They're both nice, but I'm voting for the second one. Mainly because the drama of the first one is derived from how you'd stand. Do you plan on standing with your arms slightly away from your body all night? Those flappy bits would get on my nerves by the end of the night and I'd probably accidentally dump them in food or…

Check out eBay for jeans, pants, etc. That's where I get most of my jeans. You can get name brand jeans new with tags for a fraction of the cost of buying them in the store. Even the used ones are usually in excellent condition. Plus, you can get hard to find materials (i.e. 100% cotton jeans vs. stretch). Good job on the…

EAS Advantage powder vanilla flavor is tasty and not gritty. I put a scoop in my oatmeal every morning along with some cinnamon. Tasty and a great way to get more protein throughout the day. Pure Protein bars are pretty good and have 18-20 g of protein and 180-200 calories each. Quest bars are amazing, but pricey. Detour…

I have Bloch dance shoes. Asics makes a dance shoe called Naomi I think. You might check it out. Also, some of their cross trainers might work well, but not the Upshot. When I started Zumba I wore my Asics running shoes too. My feet didn't hurt, but doing the turns put torsion on my knees and ankles and that hurt! Good…

Check out Amazon for Subscribe & Save options. I get the EAS vanilla protein powder (5 lb) delivered monthly for my husband and I. It's a good price, tasty and smooth.
I also hear a lot about "banned lifts" which is no good either.
What do they ban? It sounds like they're not very friendly to the weight-lifting crowd. I go to the Y. They have great child watch for my 3 children, it's spacious, clean and has a well set-up weight area.

They take smoke breaks while working out?! When I do cardio, I try to get a machine at the far left of the bank of machines. I figured out the airflow in the gym seems to flow from left to right. If I get stuck in the middle of the bank of machines, I invariably wind up with a super stinky teenage male next to me. It's not…

You can do a google search for body weight exercises and that should get you started. Ultimately you'll want to lift heavy for the best results. Don't worry, you won't get too bulky. You can search the groups for strength training and NROL4W ("The New Rules of Lifting for Women" by Lou Schuler). The NROL4W is desighned for…

I've had 3 children and gained about 50 pounds each time. After my third pregnancy the hanging skin and fat was really bad because I hadn't taken care of it after the first two pregnancies. I've lost all of my pregnancy weight plus an additional 7 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight over the past 5 months. I've…

Bump for that protein shake; it looks delicious!

Get "The New Rules of Lifting for Women" by Lou Schuler. It'll walk you through weightlifting. You'll start out relatively light with 2 sets of 15 reps and progress from there quite rapidly. Also, check out the groups on MFP. There are ones for the NROL4W and strength-training for women. Good luck!
