I admire your dedication!! You're not getting much sleep or recovery time though. I work from home several days per week, so allows me to work out almost every day. On the 2 days I go into the office, I wake early to get home early and then workout when I get home, walk at lunch, and walk around the office as much as I…

I love love love the show, but I only caught up to mid-season 7 so don't tell me what happens ;-) How exciting to get to a SN convention!

You could also be dealing with post partum hormone fluctation and if you are breastfeeding you will need more calories too.

Feel free to add me! Always looking for more support buddies :-)

Please feel free to add me! I turned 40 this year and decided after dealing with some health issues this last year, that I am going to get back in shape :-)

I really really wanted to buy them on Beachbody-- but ended going to ebay and was able to get a full set including those discs.

Here's a link where you can get the TF schedule, TF/CLX hybrid schedule, and TF/P90X hybrid. I'm thinking of doing the TF/CLX hybrid.

Thanks Dina and Nicki!! @ Dina, I think you're right re: sodium. I have been eating a lot of lunch meat, as I have found it to be easy/portable breakfast or lunch option. I have actually been putting a little slice of cheese and a slice of lunch meat (or half slice) directly on a piece of romaine lettuce. Super yummy! I…

Thanks Zipper for responding! I guess I wanted to be more moderate in my approach. Kind of South Beach rather than Atkins? I haven't had any refined carbs, nor complex carbs in the last 10 days. I don't miss it too much. But, I am getting some carbs from my coffee creamer, protein powder, veggies. Some reading I was doing…

Awesome tips, thank you! Good job on your weight loss!

I can view weekly calories on my phone, but only see the bar graph on the website. Is there any way on the website to see how many weekly calories in a numeric form? (so I can determine my overall deficit). I am also interested in how you created a rollover credit...

Oh and Im taking a supplement for adrenal support.

tecallahan-- I took Armour for years (1 grain) and then when there was a shortage took naturethroid, then my T3 went too high and I was having a lot of anxiety/hyper issues. My TSH was suppressed at one point. But, my naturopath reduced dosage to get my TSH between 1-2 to try and get pregnant (that hasn't happened yet). In…

Yes, I was pretty sure this was not the first time my question was asked :-) Thanks for the spreadsheet-- I can't open it from here, but will do so when I get home!

Looks like we cross-posted. From my fitbit stats in the last month, 1770 is really absolute minimum I am doing on non-workout days. Workout days are typically 2100-2700 burnt.
-
Thanks Heybales-- I just did your calculation and at sedentary level is pretty close to my nonworkout days (1770 from daily exercise). Only problem is MFP is giving me 1270 cals per day to eat :-( That is below my BMR for non-exercise days. I also use a HRM as my main gauge for cal burn during workouts. Fitbit gives me…

Thanks Dana-- try to be as honest as I can :-) But seriously, I do weigh/measure stuff. The protein bar I have been using for a snack is 170 cals, 9g protein, and 9g sugar-- not sure if that is candy like? I was VERY HUNGRY on a couple days last week, where I exercised and walked a lot. I ate my exercise cals those days.…

Thanks for the responses! @Tash-- yes, have been eating nutrition bars and protein shakes (which are a little high in sodium) to get more protein in, but I do eats lots of fruits and veggies too. But, sodium is definitely somewhere I coudl improve. I eat out maybe 2x per week, but try to make good choices there too (had…

I should add here are my stats: age: 39 height: 5'7" SW: 164 CW: 155 GW: 140-145 BF: at least 30%

Anti-inflammatory for me is no dairy, grass fed beef and less red meat, more fish, chicken, leafy vegetables, fiber. I am still not sure how much to eat though cal wise? 1500 plus eat my exercise cals? Yesterday I burned 500 according to my HRM and ate my 1500 + about 450 exercise cals. The scale bumped up this morning-- I…

Thanks Taz! I feel pretty close to normal (almost). I'm just a little past 6 weeks post-surgery. It was laproscopic, so less invasive. But still, they had a lot of endo to remove-- so that was prob a shock to the system, like you said. I wonder though if I need to increase cals to give my body more energy to recover +…

oops, maybe I only have it open to "friends." I will change that. I definitely think the surgery had something to do with my stall and I am really only starting to ramp back up again workout wise. I am not just not quite sure how much to eat.
-
Hi Taz-- no, not planning on doing a reset. I have been tracking a little over 3 months and prior to that was not eating low cal. So, I don't think my metabolism needs a reboot necessarily.
-
Also wanted to add that I am hypothyroid, but managed on levothyroxine. I have a fitbit too and my menu is open. Thanks again!

Scooby puts me at 1441 for desk with little exercise (1412 BMR). So I guess that would give me a little deficit, since I will likely make it to 1700 today? I had selected 1-3 hours exercise, since I I have been taking short walks during my recovery. But that gives me 1700 to lose and that's just breaking even right now.…
-
I guess I will burn another 300 calories before the day is done, but then I am around 1400 for BMR and sedentary. KWIM? Then I am way overeating at 1700 calories!
-
Thanks. Hmmm-- right now it is registering 1168 calories for the day (PST). I am at work, desk job. So, I haven't really moved around much today. But have walked back and forth to bathroom, around the office, etc. That seems low to me if ~1450 is my BMR according to Fat2fit and they recommend to lose 1700 for sedentary…

Is the fitbit calorie measure really accruate for the TDEE and BMR? I think the fitbit is only capturing the calories burned on activity not on basic body function (like BMR)? I ask also since I have been doing very little acitivity the less couple of weeks recovering from surgery. Some days, my fibit has registered around…
