I quit, and I gained weight!!!! The problem wasn't the quitting smoking, It was all of the junk I was putting into my mouth for comfort of not having a cigerette. I think we would like that :-) but unfortunately it doesn't always happen that way. Most experts recommend weighing in once a week. This allows for the daily fluctuations, or you may be at a plateau, that's when you feel that lifes not fair. But keep going, the rewards are much better than the down day's.
