Maybe have a diet soda & talk to your daughter's school about better options of places to hold fundraisers. McD's is SO disgusting & so bad for you. I don't feed my daughter that kind of food & I don't think fast food really has a place in children's diets. Just my 2 cents..

If you don't have a HRM & you're planning to eat back some exercise calories, I'd definitely figure that the machines are 30-40% off. That way you won't be overestimated your burn. I find that every single machine I use (which is pretty much all of them) is overestimating.

I eat right around 1200 a day, & lately I haven't been eating back my exercise cals. I have about 35lbs to go till goal, so I think I can afford the larger deficit that not eating back cals gives me.

So funny to see this thread..I can totally relate! My daughter is obsessed with chicken salad & I can hardly make her sandwiches for lunch anymore :/ My mom makes her homemade chicken salad & it sits in a big tub in the fridge and I am sooo disgusted by it, esp. when I have to smell it. Gross.

Nope but I lived there from 2000-2001. I love the Cape so much. I live north of Boston now but I hope to buy a vacation home on the Cape soon-ish :)

Usually go to bed around midnight, give or take. On weekdays I'm up no later than 8:15 to do the morning routine with my daughter & get her to school. Currently, I'm job hunting so I'm known to take an afternoon nap. On weekends when I can sleep in, I usually sleep till 10:30-11am. I love my sleep!

Agree with all the previous posters. You're eating far too little..and this is coming from someone who is told often that she eats too little! Try to eat 1200, even if you're not eating back any exercise calories. Take a look at friend's diaries..a lot are open even if they aren't your friend on here. Try to get more…

I usually have a slice of toast & some peanut butter before a workout & then a regular breakfast after. Although, sometimes I do work out on an empty stomach and I haven't noticed any bad effects from that.

They are like potato chips, but much better for you..lower cal & fat.

The elliptical is definitely more intense than just walking--even if you're power walking. As far as the machines go, it's the best burn you'll get unless you run :)

Well, I am not sure if I'd call someone else out on their diet, but if someone asked me about something in mine, I would not be at all offended. My diary is open..if I didn't want comments/advise I would keep it closed. If anyone on here doesn't want opinions, they should close their diary...just my opinion :)

I'm 5'0 & have lost almost 20, and people have noticed, but not many! I am about 35lbs away from goal, so hopefully more peeps will notice soon :)

I don't think it is a reason you're not losing. Diet soda, while not the best for you, has 0 calories and only a small amount of sodium, so it's not really going to impact your weight loss. I drink about 40oz of Diet Pepsi a day & have no plans to give it up:)

That's almost exactly what I do in terms of training. However, if you're sore by all means take a day off. You definitely don't want to have an injury that forces you to take a lot of time off!

Yup, I use HRM when I weight train. It's sooo helpful. I've been interested to see that I burn way more calories on lower body strength training than upper body.

I actually found that my HRM is pretty close to what the machine says. If you enter your weight and age and touch the sensors on the machine to measure HR, it should be pretty accurate. But, unless you have HRM it's probably best to deduct a little from the machine.

Vinny is my fave. He doesn't complain, ***** & moan like almost everyone else on the show does. Also, Dolvett is my fave. Yum ;)
