HAHAHA! This! You won't be quite so sedentary if you have to go to the Ladies' Room every hour.

I don't mean to be harsh, but I think you are too concerned about a number on a scale. I'd say try 1400 a day for a week or two and see how you feel.

I'm lucky enough to have a fitness room where I work. I try to take 2 20 minute breaks per day on a treadmill. I just finished my 2nd break now. :)

I'd say Go Bruins but they're on strike. I'm from Iowa and I'm pretty sure I was supposed to be born in the Boston area but there was a mix up with the storks that day or something. I also did not like WW - I think MFP is wicked better. Feel free to add me if you like!

I was an assistant manager at the highest volume store in our division for 2 years. The best part about working there was eating anything and everything I wanted and wearing size 4/6 pants comfortably. If you can stick with Aldi until January you will be fine. I also started in October. From October to Christmas is the…

Don't let the stair stepper scare you. I think the next time you go to the gym you should own that machine.....and then tell me about it. Get it, girl!

I love that dirty mind of yours!

That was such an awesome movie.

I think plain grilled chicken breast seasoned to taste is underrated in a big way. Grilled is my favorite cooking method, but baked or fried in a little bit of olive oil is ok, too. Have a vegetable or two as a side and its a great meal.

6 pounds in the first week is pretty awesome. It took me at least 3 weeks to get that far. Way to go!

This is the coolest thread ever. I want to join!

Dang. Looks like you already have some pretty decent guns. It seems like a lot of people seem to mix protein powder with various fruits. Personally, I use chocolate protein powder and mix it with 1% milk and PB2. Its like drinking a big Reese's peanut butter cup for under 300 calories. I eat it either for breakfast or a…

Are you bored? I used to get hungry and bored confused. Especially at work.

I think this is one of your best posts, and that is saying a lot considering you post some of the best stuff on MFP. Beavis is pretty darn cute, too.

I have a coworker who consistently says fustrated instead of frustrated. It makes me want to smack her. This same coworker also has mistaken me for a dictionary. She needs to retire NOW! Or die. I'm not picky.

I feel your pain. If you drive to work park as far away from the entrance as possible. I got this thing (no idea what to call it) that lets me pedal at my desk. It was $20-30 on Amazon - look in the fitness stuff, it should be there. Sorry I can't be more specific about that suggestion. I don't pedal all day or very fast…

Super cute jeans. You look so good in them, too! Congrats to you, chica!!!

Chocolate protein powder in skim milk. Love it.

Drink a bunch of water to offset the high sodium. I'm no doctor, but I think if you drink enough water you'll end up flushing a lot of the sodium out of your system. I also think one can every once in a while is no big deal. A can of soup like that every day would be too much. Just my 2 cents.

MiO does not contain aspartame. MiO Energy Green Thunder is my favorite; its helping me to consume less Diet Mountain Dew.

My boyfriend is a great workout buddy, an amazing cook (grilled salmon and steamed broccoli tonight), and goes to hockey games with me. Actually he's cooking while I watch a hockey game on tv...this guy is great!

In response to the original post - if I complain about my weight my bf suggests we get active right then and there. I have learned not to complain about not losing weight or losing weight slowly unless I want him to suggest we go for a bike ride or head to the gym. The gym is 24 hours so there is no time of day that is…

I'd suggest spinach instead of lettuce for the salad that way there is the added bonus of potentially adding E. Coli 0157 to the marinade/dressing. E. Coli and Salmonella bacteria eat each other so this should be fine as long as the salad is at room temperature for a few hours prior to serving.

Ferret food is even higher in protein than cat food for people who are really serious about losing the weight and can afford pricier food.
