I think I would get discouraged too if I saw the machines in P90X working it and I'm dying. @Lyadeia: I can understand that. I hope you're able to reach your goals. I don't think I've ever been able to do a pull up in my life, XD

In some of the vids even the people in them are having to stop and breath. That's a great idea though, to use your tax return.

I did the fit test and it felt great. Challenging but I like that. I'm watching through some of the other dvds and you're so right. It's so intense! XD I thought about P90X but I don't have weights to use in my home. I was going to the gym a lot before and it was getting so boring because I have to go by myself.

Haha, I'm looking through the dvds now and it does look crazy insane for cardio but if I need to stop and breath, I'm not scared to do that. :) All at my own pace.

I have some knee problems so I stick with the elliptical because it's easier on my knees. With a stair climber it would get painful. We have treadmill, elliptical, and some stationary bikes. (besides the stair climber) for cardio machines. But I don't give up and everyday I push myself.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever met 888 calories lost at the gym. The highest on the elliptical I've ever had it read was 500 some odd calories. THat was one time. Then I do weight lifting, but still.....I don't think with where I'm at I could get to that number.

If I have coffee or eat oatmeal that's about all I use of splenda.

I wish I could have been to the gym last week but I was sick. However, I still was under my calorie goal. That in itself was a strength for me. This week, I hope to aim for losing 400-500 calories a day in the gym this week. :)

My weight stayed the same. Still at 231lbs. Week 1 was neither great nor bad.

I did one set of 40 then continued with my other work out. I have bad knees but I hope to increase my number higher!

I've been on the site for a while and never really tapped into the support of the other members. Only resently have I do that and found it so rewarding. I'll add you right now and offer my support!!
