Sorry for the watermarks but lately my pictures are being stolen for fake weight loss ads. I'm 24 years old and 5'10". I started my journey January 2013 at 270lbs and now am somewhere in the low 170's.

I love to cook. Myrecipes.com has been a huge help. I try to eat mostly lean meats, chicken, fish, turkey and lots of veggies.

MFP Also wants you to eat back calories that you exercise that almost no one does. So unless you are willing to eat more on days that you workout, I wouldn't recommend doing 1400 a day.

No questions are stupid. :) I use a heart rate monitor and try to burn about 600 calories a work out. Or about an hour a day of fairly intense cardio/weight training. The first 15lbs kind of just fell off. I think my body was just really shocked that I was eating so healthy. I started at 1600 calories a day but found that I was too tired all the time and upped my intake to 1800 calories a day. I'm never perfect though, it's just a rough estimate. I don't panic if I go over.

I think it definitely takes a bit more weight to notice the difference when you're taller. (I'm 5'10") This is roughly 40lbs and my tummy is still holding on for dear life!

I'm 5'10 and wear a 34 inseam. I love American Eagle. They carry long sizes in the store and extra long sizes online.
