I'm glad I'm not driving the car that's missing that Tire. I've lost a Automobile Tire! I'm certain it was hanging around my midsection, hence, losing that spare tire!

Finding the desire to do it is the first step and you are there! You already know you have it in you and have proven it. Now...let the journey begin!

I too have a hard time with 1,200 calories. I usually get around 1400-1500 and like it there much better. I'm really maintaining. If I lost 5 more pounds I would love it, but I'm not killing myself to get there. When I see threads about people having problems getting to 1,200 calories per day I'm shocked.

Great Job! It definitely takes a little getting used to. Habits are hard to change. You can do it!

It is definitely harder to lose when you are already within your healthy weight range. You are probably at your body's *Happy Weight*. I'm sure you already look awesome and congratulations on losing so much. That's dedication! Just don't get too thin. That isn't a good look.

If you have a George Foreman Grill just throw on a couple of (defrosted) frozen Talapia Filet's for 3 minutes. I usually put a little butter and some seasoning on them before hitting the grill. Three minutes is perfectly cooked. Whatever sides you like works great. Somtimes when in a hurry I open a can of black beans,…

Every one here has posted what I have done too. Eventually you will have a good idea if it is accurate. Also I watched a show about six months ago (-minutes, Dateline something like that) that said most food labels can be off be off by as much as 20% too.

Use a DVR t record your TV shows, this way you can fast forward through the commercials. Could it be that all of the food commercials are triggering the desire? Also writing down what you "plan" to eat each day might help you with a little will-power.

Nice Job! Looking good.

If I had an extra hand I would give you Three Thumbs Up!

My co-worker showed me this on his iPhone. I was totally impressed.

That will motivate ya huh?! Way to go!

I'm guessing your mother needs to lose weight also if she eats that way too. I agree, she is showering you with love the only way she knows how. If she is resistant I wonder if it is because she doesn't want to be held accountable for her own weight (if she is large). I would suggest that you cook one day, your brother…

My co-worker has lost about 40 pounds in the past few months and he hasn't exercised at all. He has just closely monitored his calories using MFP and is making better food choices and in appropriate portions. If he exercised it would even be more, I'm convinced diet is a bigger part of it.
-
I eat the Sara Lee 45 calorie bread also. I find it helps me cut calories for the day.
-
WOW! I would stop shopping with her and would attempt to limit all conversations regarding food. She sounds very controlling.

I've never done the 30-DS but keep thinking about getting it. I would add those exercises into your MFP because you are doing the work. I hope you have great success! With your other exercise class I wonder if you could be getting too much exercise. You could get injued or maybe get a little exhausted. I'm no expert…

Kevin3344 said it best. It took me a long time (around a year) to lose my 20 pounds. Of course, I wasn't watching my diet as closely as I should have but it worked for me. Just don't set too vigorous of a plan that you will feel like a failure and quit. You didn't gain it overnight, and it doesn't come off that way. Just…

At 115 pounds with your height puts your right in the middle of a healthy BMI. Your doctor seems to be on target. I think they are not happy with their own weight.
-
You haven't said what your goal weight is or how tall you are so it's hard to know if 30 more pounds will make you too skinny. Some people don't like to see others lose weight because it brings it to their attention that they aren't doing anything about their own weight.

I live a little out of town and work evenings so the gym membership is inconvenient for me. I walk/run around my neighborhood. I have an elliptical and a weight bench with dumbells also. I have a step and sometimes do a little step aerobics at home and have been known to set up an circuit training system where I do a…

My introduction to Nutrition was in a college class back in 1983. We had to log everything we consumed for a 24-hour period. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this was waaaay before the internet was availble. We had to use the textbook as a source of restaurant calorie information. It was tedious!!!. We also logged every 15…

Okay...I've known for a loooong time. (Sigh) I have to wean myself off of Pepsi. There...I said it! (As she researches options).

Ready for the show to begin!

You see her losing NOW. Not gaining it back LATER. Just cause one Nutritionist supposedly recommended it means nothing. It could just mean she is a stupid nutritionist! Low, Slow, an Healthy is the way to go.

I work evenings and was rushed today. I threw two slices of Sara Lee 45 calorie bread in a ziploc cause I have Peanut Butter in my desk drawer and Jelly in the fridge. Looks like a PBJ for me tonight!

When I used to work out at the gym I saw it all. I prefer to wear an exercise bra (one that keeps the girls in place, not flattens them into my chest) a t-shirt that is a little clingy (so no one can look up or down) and yoga pants or shorts. I get too hot in sweats. I figure cotton is best! I wasn't at the gym to see and…

I keep mine private because I track things that no one wants to know about such as disestive issues. I want to coorelate fiber to movements for lack of a better way of putting it. Ha Ha. In notes I also log my daily weight, energy levels, Time of Month (TOM) so I can go back and make changes to my future if needed.

I am usualy 5-8 pounds from my goal weight of 125 (5'5 female). I seem to hover around 130-133. This has been going on for around three years now. I'll admit, I kind of got lazy and gave up. I excercise for a few months and quit for a few months (other than a little walking). I've always been aware of about how many…

I don't know that I've ever seen this many pages of posts! WOW!!!! You are so super awesome.
