It sounds like you have alge growing in you pitcher which is normal for water, espesially standing water. If the pitcher you use is left in bright light or the sun the alge will grow faster also, so try keeping it out of bright lights. Also alge grows in warmer water much faster so if possible keep the pitcher in a mini…

Bump... I'm also wondering what others think. I was considering buying one too but the Body Bugg has mixed reviews on other web sites so I wasn't sure after reading them.

I'm with you!! I never liked the taste of water but I have been doing better at drinking more water daily. It does get easier to drink it and on days I really can't stand to drink water I add lemon juice or once in a while mint to the water to give it a better taste and then I usually don't have a problem with drinking so…

Thanks everyone for the responses!! I will continue doing my normal activities without counting those calories. Thanks again for all the input!!

You should be drink 1/2 to 1 oz of water per pound of body weight. If you are pretty sedentary and don't live in extremely dry climates you should aim for the 1/2 oz mark and if you are really active or live in dry climates you should aim for the 1oz mark. So as an example I currently weight 219 lb so I should be drinking…

I would also like to see everyone's thoughts and experiences with this as I am just starting my journey and have in excess of 50lb to lose.

I have had similar issues with my husband. He encourages me to lose the weight because he know it is what I want and plus it will hopefully eliminate some of my health issues. He encourages me to buy healthy foods but then turns around and buys doughnuts and other junk foods for himself and my kids. I don't think he…

Thanks for sharing!! I've not realized until now that I used to be a lot happier and I do catch myself taking it out on everyone around me even though I don't mean too. I hope I can get my happiness and sanity back as you have!!

Congrats!! That is one of my mini goals and my starting weight is not so far off from yours (223). This just gives me more motivation that I can do it. Thanks!!

I like to cook homemade waffles on Sundays and I always cook a double batch and freeze remaining waffles on a cookie sheet before bagging them and leave them in the freezer. Then in the mornings when you want waffles just pop in toaster like eggo waffles and enjoy. This also works well with pancakes too.

I do the same morning before dressing and same day everyweek. It is hard because I do want to weigh in earlier but when I do have that urge it motivates me to work even harder so when I do finally weigh in it will all be worth it.

Me too, I've seen the virtual models but no idea where they get them.

I have a Gazelle and it counts calories for me but I don't think it is very accurate. It says in 15 min of a workout I've only burnt 30 calories when I can walk at a brisk pace for 15 min and burn a lot more acording to MFP. I work up about the same sweat on both so that is why I don't think mine is accurate. My Gazelle…

There are some exercises you can do with your kids that are fun for your kids and benefit you as well. That would acomplish two tasks at the same time by exerciseing and spending time with your kids. I don't remember what exactly they are but you should be able to google it and find some good workouts involving your kids.

That's not a bad price I've only seen it on tv commercials and beachbody consultants and it was quite expensive for the entire system. I'll have to check out my local Target if I like it.

So the Polar FT7 and F6 seem to be popular. I will have to look into those. When I was searching online I found the Garmin Forerunner 305 which is a little pricey but seems to be worth it. Does anyone have it or any thoughts on it?

My budget is pretty tight but I can always save up what I need to it just might take longer then I want. lol

Bump I live in the middle of know where and don't have access to a gym and get tired of walking/jogging all the time.

Sorry I have not done this as a work team but I think the way to keep the group inspired and working together is to set up a weekly group exercise and maybe a lunch discussion group. That way everyone can talk about their workout fears and overcome them and also keep everyone motivated by sharing everyone's sucess. The…

Bumb for later, these sound great!

I've wondered the same thing. My husband and I have been wanting to get a wii fit and some of the biggest loser games but we want to know if they really work and are worth the money first. I look forward to everyone's responses.

You could try sugar free chocolate. Not as many calories as regular chocolate but it does help my chocolate craving when I can't stand it anymore. Just make sure it is in moderation or it will sneak up on you fast.

I would also like to see an accurate recipe analyzer that is easy to use. I've found a couple but they are not the easiest to use and I don't feel they are very accurate at times. I would love to see everyone's favorites.

Thanks everyone for the support. Helen, yes it is Kat.

I've heard that keeping a glass of water by the bed and drinking it instead of going to find something to eat helps relieve hunger pains espesially in the middle of the night. Hunger and thirst pains often feel the same and you might just be thirsty. Hope this helps it's worth a shot anyway.
