I'm 5'4" and my goal weight is 130. My CW is 137 and I'm not really sure I'll be happy at 130. I want to look fit and toned - so I may actually try to get down to 125.

I think every little bit helps. However, you'd probably burn just as many calories doing household chores as you would taking a short walk. So I'd probably do the chores - that way you're killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Before my lifestyle change (2/3/13) we'd order pizza almost weekly. Recently I'd been craving pizza, so last Friday night when we were super busy I decided to order pizza. I managed to eat only 2 slices, got plenty full and stayed at around 600 calories. Since I didn't have any sugary sodas or beer, my meal was well within…

A-MA-ZING!!!! You look awesome!

Well I like the way you think. Who knows maybe I can build on this and start running for exercise a couple of times a week. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone. :)

Thanks guys! :)

I'm 5'4" and pretty happy with it. Tall enough that I don't feel like a shorty, but I also am still shorter than most guys (including my 5'10" husband) So yeah, I'm happy with 5'4". :)

Friends. :)

I too am very close to my goal. However, I've had more luck with eating more calories (1500-1600) than I did with eating 1200. In fact, if I hit another plateau I'll probably bump up closer to 1800 cals a day.

I assume that like me you are not independently wealthy and do not take vacations monthly or anything like that. With that being the case, I'd say splurge! It's what 5 or so days out of an entire year?! Eat what you want. :) Then when you get home, it's back to work you go!

If we were really good friends and the clothes really were something I'd like, I'd be glad to have them. Yeah, I'd probably think dang this sucks that she lost all this weight and I didn't. But on the other hand if I really liked the clothes, I'd get over it quickly. Also, it might motivate me to ask her about her weight…

My mother and father in law are both obese. My father in law is nearly 400 pounds. My husband and I hope and pray that someday he'll find the motivation to get off the couch and get some exercise. However, in the 13 year I've been a part of their family, I've not known him to lose any weight or do any exercise, only gain…

I have no idea... kind weird to think about. However, my husband's aunt just passed away last Saturday at age 56 after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. Because she knew she was dying she had the chance to plan out her funeral in great detail. I know she planned on having "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi played. She loved Bon…

I'm litterally going from couch to 5K. I am not a runner, I hate running. But I was talked into signing up for the 5K at the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon this Sunday. So, I'm just going to wing it! Hoping that I'm in good enough shape from all my workout videos and cardio sessions on the elliptical. I figure worse case…

Everyday for me. It helps me to stay on track. :)

I don't count it b/c I used to clean like crazy before I started this new lifestyle and I was still overweight. However, if I spent 4 hours doing a massive project like you've described I might count it, just since it did take a lot of sweat and energy that you might have otherwise put into a workout.

I drink water almost exclusively... HOWEVER, I sometimes crave a sweet drink. In those cases, I LOVE the Diet Lemonade from Chick fil A. It tastes so much like the regular lemonade that sometimes I wonder if they got it mixed up. It's not 0 cal, but it is only like 30 calories for a large. I also have HATED diet soda my…

I get this too. Sometimes, I'm able to lift one foot at a time or wiggle my toes and get the numbness to go away. Other times, I'll get off for just like 20 seconds or so and move my feet around. It does the trick and I jump right back on.

I prefer 1%, but I've been drinking skim lately b/c it's lower cal.

I have finished the 30DS. It is VERY hard in the beginning, but trust me it does get easier. Like PP said, by day 4 or 5 you'll be like "oh ok, I can do this" and then you'll be so proud of yourself that you did it. Keep at it! :)

Are you kidding me?!! If I could eat nothing but fast food and restaurant food and still be healthy and thin, I'd do it all day long everyday! haha

Can I just say that I admire you to post on here with such honesty. Keep working at it and sticking to your daily goals. Take one day at a time. If you have more good days then bad days you'll start to see that number drop. As it drops, you'll gain momentum. It won't happen overnight and may take quite a bit of time, but…

I'll admit it, I'm guilty of this. Most often though I just try to focus on what is great about their kid instead of what's not so great. Like my husband's neice. She's a brat and not very cute in my opinion. But, she has beautiful stratight white teeth - so I always compliment them. :)

I really appreciate your detailed response! TBH, I'm very nervous about upping my calories by so much even if I do it slowly. The reason is there are really only 2 ways I know how to eat... 1) is a bunch of fatty high calorie junk and lots of Dr. Pepper. (That's what got me where I am to begin with) and 2) eating very…

I probably should've mentioned I shoot for 1200 net calories per day. I often eat back my workout calories and end up closer to 1500.

We have tons of fabulous locally owned Tex Mex restaurants in OK. Anytime I eat at one, I just go to like El Chico's or On the Border or something like that... grab their calories and go with it. I realize it won't be exact, but it'll be close enough to keep me int he ball park.
