I've had mine for about 2 years now and I LOVE IT!! Can't thing of a single bad thing about it. I would recommend it to anyone! :)

I still don't like it somedays. On other days I can't wait to get my workout in. On the days that I don't feel motivated, I usually just do cardio. That way I can lose my thoughts in the music and sort of put my brain on auto pilot during my workout.

When I started this journey I was 5'4" and 154 lbs in a size. 10. Lost 10 pounds and got to a size 8, lost 10 more and now I'm a size 6. Hope this helps. :)

A friend of mine was out riding her bike earlier this week and was attacked by a dog. She had to go to the ER for stitches. It has made me afraid to run outside now as well, so I totally get what you're saying.

I'm not sure how much you have to lose. I started my journey on Feb 3rd at 154 lbs. I have since lost 20 pounds and am down to 134. I've been at this for 3 months and I still don't think my body is where I want it yet for a bikini... so I'm not sure how far off you are from your goal, but 6 weeks may not be enough time...

I'm not a fish eater either, but I eat talapia. Not b/c I love it but b/c the taste is mild enough and the health benefits are super!

ITA! If you do burn some extra calories cleaning, just consider it a bonus... but don't log it.

I just bought one last week. Still having trouble incorporating it. For instance, I made a meatloaf the other day. Once all the ingredients were combined I had not idea how many calories were in the meatloaf based on its weight. So I just added each ingredient to my log and divided the amount I put in the recipe by 8 since…

Talapia (which I used to HATE, now I eat once a week), Ground Turkey (instead of ground beef), Turkey Bacon (instead of pork), Skim milk (instead of 1%), spinach (along with or instead of lettuce), mustard (in place of mayo), fruits and yogurt for breakfast (instead of McD's sausage biscuits and cinnamon rolls). In…

I have no problem what so ever with A&F's marketing plan. Most every store makes their clothing only in certain sizes. My favorite stores are Express, Limited, Banana Republic... one of the reasons I watned to lose weight was so I could continue wearing my favorite brands (My size 10 pants were getting too small and that's…

Cardio will help you lose weight because it increases your daily caloric deficit. However, strength training is great for muscle building. I realize that muscle weighs more than fat, but are you more concerned about what you weigh or how you look? If you're more concerned with how you look, then you want to build muscle.…

I know exactly what you're talking about. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, I can just tell that I've lost weight. So I'll go weigh and sure enough! :)

I love me some Jlillian Michaels!! lol

I LOVE the idea of putting money in a jar when doing things right!! I think that's the one downfall for me of losing weight is needing money for new clothes! I have a pretty big wardrobe and lots of size 10 pants. Problem is that now I'm a size 6. I look ridiculous wearing size 10 pants right now. But I can't afford to go…

Me too! That's when I'll know I've reached by goal is when I'm proud to wear my "birthday suit" haha! :)

Well I'm a tad shorter than you at 5'4". My SW was 154, CW is 134, my current GW is 130. However, with only 4 pounds to go, I'm quite certain that 130, won't be enough to get me as lean as I want to be. In the end, I'm not looking to attain a certain weight, but there is a certain look I want to attain. I want to be very…

The best fat burning tool you have is your metabolism. You are never going to burn as many calories in the gym as you do in your daily functions of life (breathing, digesting food, etc.) Therefore, you need to make sure you are fueling your metabolism by eating the proper amount of calories. I have had great sucess eating…

Keep working hard and try to ignore her. If she gets too out of hand, report her to your supervisor. If you need any more MFP friends to help support you, feel free to add me! :)

I loved it!

Everyday it's getting harder and harder to find pants to wear b/c they're all too big!

I'm going to buy one this weekend. Would you guys recommend any particular brand or model? I'm considering this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Biggest-Loser-11-lb-Glass-Digital-Kitchen-Scale/19528896

Age has nothing to do with it. If you've got the confidence to wear it, wear it. i'm 31 and I would love to look like Jennifer Anison (age 44) does in a bikini.... in fact, that's my goal - Jennifer Anniston's abs and arms. haha!

Nah, they all have personal chefs who make sure they eat great and stay within their calorie goals!

People usually think I'm in my early 20's.... 24 or so. I'm actually 31. :)

I had strep about 2 weeks ago. The first day I felt sick I rested. Then after that on the 2nd and 3rd days, I was back at it on my 30 Day Shred video. However, I'd say it's ok to rest a few days if you feel like resting. Just make sure you're eating healthy and get back to your exercise routine once you're feeling better.

It would involve Mexican food for lunch, probably a fat juicy steak for dinner, mashed potatoes, lots of yummy carbs... and of course lots of beer! :)

I've cut out Dr. Pepper. I used to drink about 3 to 4 a day and now I only have about 1 a month. (Although I did go to the movies yesterday and kinda over did it on soda, haha) For me this is a lifestyle change. I want to be able to eat things I've always enjoyed in moderation. However, overall I'd prefer to fill my diet…

I've been working my A off for 3 months now preparing my body for a bikini. It's not where I want it to be, but I look a heck of a lot better than I did 3 months ago... so YES, I'm ready for summer! :)

From what I've read alcohol slows down your metabolism. So not only are you drinking those calories, but you're also slowing down the rate at which the body processes them. I don't know what kind of wine you're dirnking, but most wines are 200+ calories per glass. That would be over 600 cals a day just on a beverage. If…
