That's awesome! Congrats!

I was wondering if there was a way around that. I have the watch display and was hoping I could just use it after my sub runs out. Not sure though.

As jarrettd said hrm are for during exercise only. The ft1 is a wristband watch style monitor with the chest strap. :) If you looking for something that tracks all day calorie burn, I highly recommend picking up a used body fit media or Bodybugg off eBay or Craigslist for around $40-$50. The monthly subscription is under…

I would only spend the money if it has a chest strap. They are more accurate. I'm a huge fan of polar brand. You can pick up a black polar ft1 with chest strap on amazon for $45.99 shipped.

5'4" 131 lbs Tdee: 1850 I'm a sahm who sits on the floor most of the day playing with toddlers. :)

Oh good! I was afraid it would be confusing. ;)

Your bodybugg eliminates the need to guesstimate anything and puts you more in control of your weight loss! Yay you! Lol. This is the best way I have found to use my bodybugg and Mfp together to maximize my weight loss. I'm going to use my numbers in pharentheses as examples. Step 1: BMR (me: 1440) To find bmr, use lowest…

I'm only 5'4" and 132 lbs, I upped mine to 1640 last week and increased them to 1750 today! I think one of the points of eating more calories is to create a slower, healthier weight loss with less muscle lost. And of course eating more makes this way easier to stick with long term! 1750 still gives me a 250 cal def daily…

Bump b/c I'd love to know too! :)

That's AMAZING! How'd it go? Were your results what you wanted?

Great minds think alike. I created a group earlier bc there are several of us on another thread starting Monday! It's called p90x challenge.
-
I just sent you an invite to the group p90x challeng on here. There are quite a few of us starting Monday.
-
I'm starting either tonight or tomorrow. I'm so excited! Have any of you look at the women's results thread on the team beach body forum? Those before/afters are serious motivation! I was shocked to see what could be accomplished in 90 days! I started a group on here for those of us staring soon. It's called p90x…

I'm moving to Australia if I can't get of mine! :)

I didn't mean to hijack your thread, but I have been wondering the same thing. I have 2 yr old twins. I am only 6 lbs away from my pre-twin weight, but my stomach looks terrible. The skin is loose, my abs are still split (diastasis?) and I have some wrinkling. :( I am desperately hoping the gals with awesome abs in their…

You also look AMAZING! There had to be some loose skin after carrying that belly right?
-
You look AMAZING! I have been searching for an at home program that would give me muscles. I'll have to look into p90x!
-
You had the loose or wrinkly skin at one point? If yes, your stomach is huge encouragement. You look fantastic!

I just read recently... 1 lb fat = 3500 cals... 1 lb muscle = 600 cals! On low cal diets, you drop weight faster bc it's usually muscle. Typically as women, we tend to focus on the scale # but if you'll quickly see for yourself in the success stories section... The gals that lost slower, retained more muscle and their…

Quinoa is great too. I mix it with veggies a lot. Today I tried it with cheese melted on it. It was decent. :)

I am having the same problem. Since upping my calories, my go to is peanut butter. I like regular, but I also like the peanut butter dreams chocolate and white chocolate flavored.

Have you considered getting a Bodymedia fit? You can get a used one on eBay for $50-$60. The subscription is under $10 a mos. It really is worth every penny. It takes all the guesswork out of everything. With it you know exactly how much you are burning, so you know exactly how much to eat for the weight loss you want. I…

I had planned to take a 45 min walk with my twin 2 yr olds.. Looked outside and it was pouring down rain! Threw on sweats/sweatshirts, grabbed a couple towels to keep the girls covered in the rain and out we went! Came back drenched from head to toe and the girls were pretty wet too. A little water never hurt anyone!!! Got…

Me too!

I'd love to join in! I'm already a little ways in, is that okay?
