Here's a website for some core exercises: http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/core-strength-training.html You'd be surprised how strengthening your core makes you so much stronger in daily life.

It's not the camera (or the mirror), your mind hasn't caught up to your body....you look great!

I started with mine closed (thinking I didn't eat well) and had looked at a few open ones and realized I eat really well - not perfect - but pretty darn good I think. I also keep it open, hoping that others will see what you can eat (and how much) without going to the golden arches, etc, etc. On the other hand, who am I to…

Only you can force yourself to make healthier choices. I've done WW ages ago and lost weight, but used to cry myself to sleep because I was so hungry. I did it again just last year thinking the new plan would be different and it's still basically the same thing - Points. You pay to use the tracking system on-line, but MFP…

If you want to do a weekly avg, you could look at your weekly "calories remaining" and divide by 7. I don't see where you got the weekly "calories remaining" from......

That's too bad. I find that that works after meals too as way of telling myself, no more food.

I weigh in every day and currently use Monday as my 'official' weigh in day. I've rotated around on my official days depending on what plan I've been currently following. I don't do anything different on my weigh in day, but I do the day before. I find if I have a steak dinner the night before (with tons of vegetables -…

Beautifully put. The amount of people I've run next to that whimper at the slightest incline, declaring it a hill is unbelievable. I've also been able to pass people on hills through the various stages listed and even some on the way down. And yes, they are a prepatory exercise to strengthen those leg muscles & increase…

The only big thing left on you is that smile! Awesome job!

What about going to a local rec centre and have an a consult? They could set you up with an 'at-home' routine. They're usually pretty reasonable with their fees. Or try a personal trainer for the same thing. Both could show you how to perform the exercises correctly. You can go back in a month or two to check that you're…

I know how you feel. I had that happen to me after losing like 30 - 35 lbs! But you are so much better than him. You're here, you're working towards being a better you and you are running. Betcha he's no where near you. So let it go and continue on YOUR journey.

Buy some new clothes now - make it a positive thing. By waiting it makes it a daunting task to lose more weight before you buy new clothes. Reward yourself - yes, consignment clothes & thrift shops are perfect places to get some new outfits. And take your old fat clothes and throw them out or give them away - don't have…

Try an apple with a bit of peanut butter, or celery with a bit of peanut butter. A small amount of nuts, such as almonds, or walnuts are good too. But do watch the amount of nuts you eat as they are high in calories and fat. They do work to fend off those hunger pangs. I find if I eat fruit alone it just gets my digestion…
