There isn't a single verified, peer-reviewed medical study saying that eating below your BMR is bad for you. In fact, there are numerous studies showing that eating below your BMR can lead to healthy weight loss. What you posted is basically a MFP urban legend.

Im taking 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1 teaspoon brown sugar splenda, and cinnamon to eat around 11 am Plus I've got some gnc lean shake 25 to do a shake around 3pm when I get hungry. Not sure what im eating for breakfast, maybe an omelette.

I got a free sample of these from gnc - the results were similar to drinking black coffee before working out. Maybe if I was in bodybuilding shape I would notice the difference, but if you.are just trying to lose weight I don't think they are a big help.

You need to drink two liters a day minimum, and if you are exercising or eating salty foods add some more. The biggest difference I see in my own weight loss comes from drinking plenty of water.
