I dont drink not out of choice but because I'm an alcoholic and so was my father, grandfather and further down my generation. I say to people who think I'm boring ok I'll drink and then I'm not capable of controlling myself or my actions or what I'll do within a 100 yard vicinity around me BUT it will definitely involve…

Its due to starch. Dont eat potatoes with the vodka and you wont lose weight.

This is good advice. I couldn't run two years ago now I'm sub 8 min miles and about to do a marathon. A heart rate monitor can be invaluable. Set it at 80% of your max. See a doctor just to check you out before you go and when you reach 80% the monitor bleeps you must stay under this and set off slowly so that you dont get…

porridge with water and bananas and eat loads Breakfast is key especially if you are training. Carb load and then ease off Protein mainly in the evening. If you carb load with high GI foods you wont be hungry. Eat nuts or fruit mid morning thats my toppy tippies

yarwell: Have thought a little less about diet and whether you should try anger management? Chill dude. Your crusade is neither helpful or relevant

Camelbak.....plus it depends on what you mean by long run. I have my own rule that anything over 1.5 hours will need me to hydrate so for my long runs 20 miles plus I use a camelbak with feeder hose which hold 1.5 litres. You shouldn't glug too much as it draws blood to the stomach so small sips regularly is better so I'm…

Right first off....forget the brigade that say if you have to walk you've not done it properly. A marathon takes guts and commitment both of which you've shown my friend. Full admiration: a marathon is a positive affirmation of what you can acheive: however you do it. forget the negative people we are all on here to make…

Hi I went to the one in Leeds and the chilli men is better than ramen. I couldn't beleive that but it is. The squid as mentioned is good and those bean things but dont send them back and complain they are two woody because your not supposed to eat the pods just the beans I felt a right nana

Love is more than two dimensional My wife looks like a chimp but I love her dearly She's a cute chimp but I'm not into chimps Just my wife who carried me when I was broken Who loved me into being a better person And who is the best person I've ever met I would love her if she was disabled or disfigured I will love her…

dont eat greams cos I've no idea what they are eat GREENS

I agree I take a protein suppliment as I'm marathon training right now. Protein sorts the aches out quickly also if you carb up do it in the morning and eat simple greams (veg and protein) later in the day.

Hi. I eat lean white chicken breast meat (no skin) and prawns. If you like seafood prawns have masses of protein and hardly any cals Tuna fish in water or brine. egg whites as suggested Never heard of the funny beans Tim

As suggestyed intervals hills Yassos fartlek. Search them and add at least a hill session and an interval session a week and be patient you'll get there. I was running circa 12 min miles two years ago I'm now up in the 8 bracket. It just takes time. Enter a race that'll keep you focussed. All the best and friend me if you…

I think thats a little bit of a generalisation. I have both male and female friends and treat both with the respect that I would hope to receive. I have faith that most people are on here to get fit / stay motivated together the above doesn't help things really.

So they build a store with 25 cashier points and it gets really busy. so they put extra staff on and increase the cashier points from 7 to 9 leaving 16 closed.....and wonder why people get upset. This of course is the stores fault not the cashiers and I always treat people with respect unitl the demonstrate otherwise and…
