Yes, I'm in the same boat.... new to MFT... lost 3 lbs... 1200 cals per day. I view my exercise calories as a reward, therefore I'm more motivated to get active. PS Just started to use "Couch to 5 k in nine weeks" (free NHS uk podcast).

Sore knees...? Try to tone down the impact. Cycle, swim, more walking & less running or run slower and/or run on softer surfaces such as grass, rather than pavements or roads. Are you going back to where you left off or will you start again? I've just done week 1 ( 5mins walk, 60secs jog/90secs walk x 8 then 5mins walk). How much week 2 increase the running? I've dodgy knees so need to take it gently.

I am in my first week and only allowed 1,200 according to MFP. I earn extra calories by exercising, which motivates me to put on my trainers and "Just do it"!
