Hi, Sad to say, but my insurance did not cover any of it. I had to pay all of it out of pocket. For some patients it will be covered, but mine (I guess mixed blessing) was not causing health concerns, it was just cosmetic in their opinion. I believe there are psychological factors to consider and mental health is just as…

I completely agree with you. I just had mine done, I had never had surgery before and it was scary but I would absolutely do it over again. I am still waiting to heal completely, I just had it done about 12 days ago. Glad to hear from you!

Hi, I have lost about 200 pounds and I had the "skin" issue, the hernia issue and the broken abdominal wall also. I fought so hard NOT to do the tummy tuck. I was stubborn and swore that I could do it by myself. The truth is, that you can only do so much to by yourself. Sure, the skin is an organ but so are your lungs and…

Hi, I have lost over 190 pounds. At first, I started doing only cardio and did not even touch weights. At about 130 pounds lost, I started playing around with weights but still intensely involved in cardio. Now, at 195 pounds into my weight loss I am focusing heaving on weight training and I'm trying to break out of my…

Thank up everyone :) To answer someone's question....I did it literally by counting calories and exercising. I didn't exclude anything major right away from my diet, I did that gradually. My exercise consisted of Cairo 6-7 days per week for at least an hour and I didn't eat after 7.

Hi nikilis if umake the boca soy crumbles you can do pasta and meat sauce....I do noodles, sundries roasted tomatoes and veggies. They noodles are good but not a great source of protein, even though its yam and tofu, so u may need to add a protein.

Hi I'm also vegetarian...I substituted regular pasta for shirataki noodles. They have 3 carbs per serving and between 20-40 calories depending on which variety you buy. They taste great but can be intimidating....I had the ultimate taste tester, my bf, try it and he loved it AND switched to the noodles. You can find them…

I wish there was some secret that I can say helped me most....but honestly it was discipline. I went to the gym every day. Only a few times would I miss. For the majority of the weight I did only cardio. I did the elliptical for about an hour per day and did not focus on strength training. I'm not saying that was the right…

Hi!!! Oh my gosh you can so do it! Honestly, I never thought that I would make it this far, it wasn't even my goal. I weighed 203 pounds in 5th grade...165 was never attainable. hi, one of the things that sometimes is recommended is curing calories. one day you may eat less and one day more, but it averages out to the correct amount of a weekly basis. so maybe spread out the "rest" of today's calories over the next 2 days.
-
you guys look amazing! how do you keep it up though? I had to switch over to a different site for a bit because myfitnesspal kept me at 1200 calories....didn't work with my workout schedule. have you reached any plateaus?

Hi! I eat a lot more often than I used to...I eat little things all day long. I do not necessarily deprive myself of anything, I eat whatever it is I want (at some point). For example, if I am craving pizza I put it off and say on Friday night I will have pizza. It is typically a one-slicer with a salad...it is just to get…
