This isn't really healthy but it will help you stay on track. Each day pick something you love and make room in your calories for it. It's must be something you absolutely love. For me it is normally a coke. It is just a small one but it keeps that craving at bay.

I am curious as well.

I think Betsy needs some neighborhood kids to dance along with her on the pier. I am excited for the virtual world we are going to make.

This thread is awesome because we need to revel in all our victories big and small along the way to stay on track. It would be cool if we could do this regularly and we each find something to be proud about. For me I am finally learning balance and realize that I do not have to go to extremes. I can enjoy the same things I…

Today is my rest day but tomorrow I get to go to Zumba. I am so excited.

I figured as much. That's fine though. When I get to my goal weight I'm thinking of getting some tuck work done then. Do yall know anyone who has had it done after losing a lot of weight and it looked good. I have seen before and after photos online but would feel more comfortable if someone knew something about this first…

I love this. This is great.

I am 32. I have 2 kids. My son is 13 and my daughter 5. I love to read and crochet. I am a crew trainer at McDonalds but have something better in the works. I love nature and really like hiking when I have someone to go with me. That is almost never though. I am fascinated by tarot cards and collect them and read, very…

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tortilla soup. It is one of my favs as well. In the winter time we would often have it once a week. We would switch it up though. Sometimes we would use chicken sometimes ground chuck.

Having been a lurker in many groups (not just weight loss related or on MFP). It is hard to discern what makes me active in one group vs inactive in another. I do know on the ones I remain a lurker on I am not sure how to jump in. I feel like such an outsider and not sure what to say. Obviously this is not one of those…

I plan on getting the Fitbit Charge HR. I may be off on this because it is second hand information. If I am wrong surely someone who has it will step in and correct me. The Charge HR keeps a continuous check on your heart rate. That combined with the ability to isolate a time period (when you are working out) gives a much…

I am sorry. I am half asleep still I hope that made sense.

Measure out how much you are going to cook. Then measure out after it is cooked. From there you should have the weight difference from there figured out and should be able to weigh out a portion.

For me it's my health. I am 32 and have stroke level high blood pressure. It isn't nothing for my diastolic to be 120. My aunt died of a stroke when she was my age so that has really been on my mind a lot these past few months. I finally decided instead of letting it bother me I was going to do something about it.

I am down .8 this week. Aunt Flo is visiting so I am probably retaining a bit of water, or not, either way it's a loss and I am happy. Yall all are doing so awesome. It is very motivating.

I know! I have a serious TV addiction (been doing better lately lol) so I decided to go look some up and I added all of those today. It will be interesting to make this a part of my daily workout.

Right now I am working on a tight budget and around my family so I can't but this would be fun to try in the future.

Good idea Karen! Here is mine https://www.pinterest.com/mitsir/healthy-foods/

That is a good idea. I wear a size 24 and I have some 20s in the drawer. I can go try them on right quick. I do not expect much right now but it will be nice to look back on later. I love this group. You guys are amazing. Giving me new ideas, motivation, and wonderful support every day.

Thank you Mirabelle. When I decided I wanted to lose weight again I looked at my past efforts and tried to look at it and see what went wrong. Why did I quit? I decided this time to let my success's motivate me, to give myself a little bit of rope, and look at the big picture when I stall out before I can get disappointed.…

It isn't so much the carbs as calories. It also serves as a challenge to me to try new things even if it involves something I don't like. I try to take things I wouldn't normally eat and try it in new ways. The healthy swaps motivate me in that challenge.

Take ground lean turkey breast and a low sodium pasta sauce and make you a meat sauce. From there pour over some spaghetti squash or zoodles (I think this is what they are called). I have never used the zoodles but it is great with the spaghetti squash.

I never thought of putting mio on shaved ice. I love snow cones in the spring and summer but not so much the calories. This could be just the alternative I need.

I see it both ways as well. There on one hand people are cruel. I was driving down the road one day and there were these group of women walking in the middle of the road. I was coming home from work. I had to slowly drive behind them for a little while. Finally I honked and they all moved but when they did they started…

I am just counting calories and making sure I get some kind of activity in. I do not deny myself. I love cokes so I went out and bought mini cokes. I have one a day (unless I have bought a regular canned coke and then I don't have any) and it helps with my caffeine headaches, cravings and more. A mini coke is 90 calories…

Its the end of the week but I got in 15951 steps so far today!

I am down .6 lbs. It wasn't a full week so I am proud of it. I am shooting for a pound a week. Awesome job everyone. We have killed it this week. High fives all around.

Yall are my heroes. I can't wait till I can say that.
