Welcome! My daughter, my third child, is 4 mo old. My pants still don't fit although I lost all the weight I gained . I'm finding MFP very helpful in getting enough calories for breastfeeding, but not so many I don't lose anything. I hope you guys enjoy it here...and feel free to add me.

I agree with everyone--including the fact that i'm hungrier, too! I do find that drinking lots of water keeps me from reaching for the carb-y junk food, though. I know everyone says to drink more water, but I'm finding it makes a difference in my body, and it helps make milk.

I had all these plans to run soon after my daughter's birth, but I was just not ready until about 7-8 weeks. I thought that since she was my third baby it would be quicker recovery. Ha. I say to listen to your body ;)

Good luck! Feel free to add me, too :)

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I"m always a teeny bit resentful of the moms that lose it all right away.

It's good to see you guys! It's just hard with kids, there's no way around it. Newborns aren't exactly low maintenance, even the easy ones. Last year I found that the running gave me a mental break, which was a huge. It's just hard to fight for that 30-45 minutes some days.

I tend to lose 20 in the first six weeks PP. Then, for whatever reason, I gain 5 or more back at around 3 months. Those 5, plus anything else I gained in pregnancy, stick around until weaning.
