I fully approve. I don't buy them. But using as much of an animal as possible is a very good use of resources and affordability.

If I've only got 100cals left and I'm that hungry I eat... 200cals or more :) It's not going to affect you long term goal.

I made Seitan some last night: A cup of flour, a third of water yeilded something between the size of a burger and a quarter pounder. It tasted a bit like raw pancake annoyingly even though flavourered, so I probably need to blanch or steam it before grilling to cook it out. I'll certainly be making more.

Very handy thanks. I do eat meat, but can't tollerate dairy or eggs (a vegan carnivore? :)) So vegan resources are often my friend.

It is interesting to see the plateaus during your less active periods. I'd love to see better fuctionality built into the tools for comparisons like these. If you experience the same or not over a longer period please repost too see if the trend continues.

They're just re-enforcing their own beliefs, perhaps even subconciously, that there's something wrong with them so they can't do it. Not that you did something right. I wouldn't take it personally. It's bad enough believing your own demons, let alone other's.

Plenty of men on here. And yeah, logging the food is really an eye opener. Both to how quickly it adds up, but conversely how much you can actually eat if you make the right choices :)

Sometimes life just gets in the way. So either settle for not doing it, a day or two further from your goal isn't going to hurt? I cut it out based on the results of an intollerance test. The painful joints and temperment disapeared and I no longer have to wear socks in bed. ;) If you don't have a medical reason, then I lost 15 pounds in a month without eating any less. :) However if you don't have to, then I wouldn't.

Nothing comical, just a boost in confidence. And not trying on 8 t-shirts before settling on one because they're not hiding the sins well enough :)
