Mint and 90% of stuff in the mint family. I have to be very careful of spices. Then there's crab, shrimp, and crawfish, melon and strawberries. I can do melon and strawberries in controlled portions but crab and shrimp and crawfish which make me puff up like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!

I want to be able to wear a skirt or short shorts and not worry about my thighs chafing. I've always had big, thick thighs and I want to lose enough weight that they're not so big that they rub together that much.

I picked up the NROLFW today and am going to go shopping for some heavier weights or at least try to find some better time to work out at the gym. Maybe I can squeeze in an hour of weights before my Sunday Zumba class at the Y and after my Thursday class at the other gym where I teach. Probably just indluge and buy weights…

Thanks for the feedback. That's basically what I thought, anyway. And jacksonpt - I do some lifting here at home currently mostly to learn correct form so I can teach moves correctly to my students in the Toning classes but I only have some small free weights here at home (3,5,8 and 15 pounders) so that's what I'm using.…

My endocrinologist asked me what my current plan was because she didn't think I was losing weight fast enough. Agreed! I weigh 303 and right now I tend to burn 800-1000 calories in a class and I would say I teach at High intensity (thank GOD for non verbal cueing!) and they say I should be burning almost 1300. Not so much.

When I teach I use Teaching Aerobic Class and the claories fall pretty closely in line with my BodyBugg. If not I split between Aerobics general and Aerobics Vigerous. That also tends to fall in line pretty closely.

I can only hope you love Zumba as much as I do! I started with the DVDs at 471 pounds. I do a combination of home made and canned soups just depending on time and what ever else life throws at me. The sodium content does tend to worry me but I'm more focused on fiber and protein right now so as long as the soup helps me reach one of those goals I'm more lenient with the other two. Have you tried doing another type of exercise? I felt the same way when I was jogging and training for the 5k I did last year. I then tried Zumba and now I'm doing 8 hours of cardio a week and I totally love the endorphin high I get from it.
