  • I am doing this too! Lost 8 lbs in 13 days. Feel soooo good.
  • I love my FitBit! Had it about 2 months and wear it constantly (except in the shower). I got the plum one and wear it on my bra and don't even notice it working 12 hr shifts as a nurse. It is amazing how many steps you can put it. I love that is automatically syncs with MFP and the sleep monitor function is cool too.
  • Awesome! Way to put it in perspective!
  • I just try to take it in stride and look forward to the loss I will probably have the week after the TOM. As long as you are moving the right direction in the long run, don't let one week a month discourage you.
  • There is a group on here called Night Crawlers you should check out. I added a category to my meal tracking of "Work Meals 7pm-7am". I do just track from midnight to midnight and figure it all averages out in the end.
  • I mainly work out on my days off or sometime after I get up (around 3:30pm) before going to work at 7pm. It is really hard.
  • I've never heard of this, I think it sounds odd. I am an RN and have always been told it should be based on your thyroid levels and symptoms. I do wish some doctors would go more by symptoms and less by just a "normal" TSH level.
  • I would try lifting weights (heavy ones) and eating back your exercise calories. Your lean muscle you build will burn calories and muscle takes up less space than fat. I would cut back a little on the zumba too if you can but if not, eat the calories back. There is a whole group on here about Eating More to Weigh Less and…

  • Hi! I will be 46 (in 8 days) and work as a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery doing 3-4 12 hr nights per week. I have a 23 yr old son and a 17 yr old son with autism. I have a 3 yrs old granddaughter and one due in 2 weeks! I am divorced but am living with my boyfriend of 12 years now, we just don't see the need to get…
  • I work 7p-7a, 3-4 nights a week. When I get home around 8-8:30, I sleep until 2-3p then I stay up until about 1am and sleep until 7am when I have to get my son ready for school. I pretty much stay up till 12 or 1a every night that I don't work. Not sure if I am getting enough sleep. I wear a dark mask when I sleep during…

  • I am a night person but the main reason I do it is for my son. He has autism and is now 17 years old. This way I can be home during the day in case things don't go well at school and I have to go get him and I can be home when his bus drops him off at 3:30 every day. Plus he goes to bed around 7:30 so he hardly misses me.…
