Let me add to this... don't get rid of carbs, I just eat less of the crappy carbs (white bread, etc.).

Me, too. Some people (such as me, who have a PCOS and are insulin resistant because of it) are more sensitive to carbs. But everyone is different of course.

Snow = sledding and climbing up hills....I did that on a snow day. I was SOOOOO much fun. I felt exercised out after that. Well, that and shoveling my huge driveway by myself. The weather is finally spring-ish around here. But since it is Indiana, I'm sure there will be a blizzard next wee.

What has worked for me was 1: going off of metforming. It gave me IBS symptoms, reallllly bad. 2: eating low carb and increasing protein. 3: CLA supplements. 4: exercising when I can. You just have to find what fits in your lifestyle. When weight comes off slowly, its better for you. Good luck! I'm struggling right now…

It depends on the day...but since going off birth control and hitting my 30s (I have PCOS), my skin has been freaky broken out! I started using Dermalogica (I get mine from Ulta). They can recommend what is best for your skin. The cleansing clay has been awesome for me and makes my skin feel nice. Calms it down too.
